For those interested- I start training with Bobby Rimmer tomorrow for my comeback fight in feb/march. I'm absolutely flattered to be working with one of the best trainers in the country and can't wait to get started. Been saying for I long time that I needed a decent trainer- its going to be an awesome experiance training with Gomez, Brian Rose and Jack Arnfield.... I'm sure theres plenty of black eyes coming my way but can't wait. :good

Fantastic news Jeff - will this involve a move for you as his gym is in Manchester isn't it?

At least you'll be in good company training alongside Blackpool's Rose and Arnfield.

Really hope all goes well. Keep us posted.

Brodie will eb there too Jeff. I'll pop down before the blackpool show in feb mate, I'll be getting an interview and probably some training footage etc... of Rose and whichever other VIP fighters are trainign on the day. Incidentally, Bobby Rimmer is one of the nicest guys in boxing - a good choice of trainer mate!

Good luck with the training Jeff.

The date has been confirmed as the 16th February 2008 at the Blackpool tower circus which is a great venue.

I've began my diet so its really a case of seeing how low i can get... Gomez seems to think that Super Feather is still a possibility so who knows. If I can get to Super feather properly with proper training I know i'm a definate top tenner.... and one thing I am is realistic about my capablities. At 9st 4lbs i'm more then an also ran but i'm not sure I can get there. Will be nice meeting up mate.
