I can not wait untill he fights an heavyweight. I hope he wins and I wish him success but for me any opponent he picks has a 50/50 chance of winning.

Barret would be good but maybe abit of egg on Hayes face.

Haye needs a tune up against Sam Peter before he steps inside the ring with dangerous power puncher Butterbean. Butter may edge it in skill too.

I'm relatively pleased with this fight, Barrett is a decent trial horse if nothing else and of course he has exposed a couple of prospects in the past...namely Mesi(who he gave a very good fight) and Guinn(who he beat).

I thought he was finished after the Couser fiasco, but he came back to expose another pretender in Tye Fields.

He's been beaten by the best the division has to offer, but he has decent name recognition and in spite of the nature of his losses, a brutal knockout by Haye would at least keep people talking.

yeah its a good match up. He has the resilience to make it interesting. Haye w12 for me. A stoppage would be great news.

So many people have said before today "Haye should fight Monty Barrett". I bet the same people will now be saying "Barretts old and washed up and keeps getting beaten by world champions"!!!

I reckon this is the perfect opponent for Haye. Barrett is a good fighter and will be well up for this.
