Michael Jennings has come out and said he is a 'proud man' facing a 'mammoth task' when he fights the dangerous hombre that is Miguel Angel Cotto in February.

With him being a proud man and not willing to 'lie down', how much have Jennings chances increased in beating Miguel? Can Jennings upset the apple cart and send Cotto into retirement?

I hope he's still a proud man when the fight is over.

Jennings certainly has a chance of winning this,
Especially with cotto coming off a loss which will lower his confidence going into the fight.

I believe he is proud. He probably will take a beating like a man.I won't have anything against stopping it early like with Gomez

Not meaning to come across as a dick but how many of jennings fights have you seen? He is no where near cotto class, not even close. A proud man unfortunatly means in this case he will get and take a beating, a vicious beating most likely

I think Cotto learned a lot from his defeat, and I dont think that Jennings has what it takes to beat him

I can see Jennings upsetting the apple cart and pulling out a performance that is off the chart. He seems humble and at peace, and ready to rip up the form book......

He almost certainly can't win. But he's a great guy, or seems to be. If anyone deserves from political bull**** he does.
