Jennings- "I'm a proud man"

In terms of class maybe......but Jennings has got the 'equaliser'......that intangible honour and proudness that comes from being under the radar for so long and realising that good things come to those who wait.......

 

Yeah, I have, Foster and a few others. He seems to have stagnated a touch and not been forced into using his bag of tricks.....he's been coasting along, playing music with the band, waiting for 'that moment'.

Come February, I'm sure Jennings will playing a sweet tune and leading Cotto a merry dance.......

 

If he's listening and dancing, Jennings can consider it a job well done.

Either way, alot of people will be proud that night, the night when 'Gentleman' Jennings has his coming out party.:soccerred

 

Lockett was indeed a proud man, however his heart wasn't in boxing and he was giving away too much size and reach to a murderous puncher.

When Jennings and Cotto square up that night in February....... mano-a mano........ Jennings will be the taller..... and he will carry that height well into the New York night..........

 

Yes, those eyebrows tell a thousand stories, which would also tell alot about this humble, dilligent, talented boxer-puncher from Chorley.

Cotto looks weary, ready to be taken into the deep waters......
