Analysing would only dilute the intangibles that will swing the fight in Jennings way, such being humble and as you say, pride, and being proud in having pride. He will fight a smart fight and let those intangibles manifest themselves in a way which will see him being the second man to inflict defeat on the Puerto Rican who has also carried himself well in victory as well as recent adversity.
Logic will be turned upside down that night in MSG. It will be Jenning's garden, and a Savage Garden at that..... an affirmation of everything that he is worked towards since he first laced up those gloves in Chorley.
Tell that to the millions that will be watching in Great Britain on that February night...... eyes glued to the TV screen.... ears to the radio. Tell them that pride doesn't amount to much in this great sport we call 'boxing'. You'll get a short shrift, especially when Jennings does a quick gear shift and ends the gutsy challenge of a certain Miguel Angel Cotto.
What do you mean eyebrowS, you mean eyebrow, right? Cause there is no space in between those badboys.... And you cant really think he is going to make it out of this fight on his feet do you? :huh
Glad you noticed - one long eyebrow. Representative of one long, smooth, unassuming ride to the top for the 'Chorley Choir Boy'. This 'journey' still has a long way to go and unfortunately for a certain Miguel Cotto, Jennings will the riding the wave of that eyebrow long into the New York night/morning. Jennings will make it out on his feet. With this match up signed and sealed, Jennings has landed on them.
you are wrong there. I am beginning to like this Jennings fellow. Boxing is 90% mental. He could pull a Buster Douglas and kick the crap out of Cotto. That is why I love Boxing as anything is possible and ANYONE can be beat on any night if they put their mind to it. :good
every boxer is a proud man, the thing is what happens if you are fighting a guy who has more pride than you
