Sure, Jennings should have taken an easier fight...that's what we want as boxing fans, right? Guys to avoid people like Ortiz cause they're a hard out.

Ortiz is a GOOD fighter, I'll give him that, but he's a styles nightmare for guys like Jennings.

Jennings isnt a whiz boxer like Haye or Chambers, he's not a monster puncher like Wilder or Martin, and he doesnt have the size of a guy like Ustinov, Wach, or Helenius.

Not saying all those guys beat Ortiz, they all don't likely do it, but I'd tip Ustinov for sure.
I'd say Potvetkin would stop him in a handful of rds, and Haye would outpoint him or beat him at his game of luring and countering.

Chambers would box circles around him.

Point is, Jennings is a solid top 10-15ish HW.
But he's at his very best when he's working behind his long jab from the outside, or when he's burying his head into his opponents chest and winging shots.

To beat Ortiz, you've got to win from the outside(Fury, Wilder, Wlad) or from the inside (Potvektin, Pulev, Ustinov).

Chagaev, to some extent, could beat him inside as well, and Browne, while lacking in speed like Ortiz, with far less skill, would actually have a power advantage over Ortiz and could KHTFO if he were able to get Ortiz at proper range, but I wouldnt bet on him to magically come up with the footwork to make it happen. :-(

I wasnt aware that Jennings has any "hype" around him.

I think some people are just happy a black american fighter has suffered a loss. Sad really...

I am an Ortiz fan, so not sure why I would have something agaisnt Black fighters?

Oritz, Rigo, Izu, Afolabi, Perez are some among of many I like to follow in this sport.

Dude, it's an American thing. Most of your boxers are arrogant but show not much in the ring. It happens to be that they are Black, not my fault when White Americans are more intrested in video games, anime and low quality UFC, where every second pub brawler could fight in the ring.

NO racism in boxing please!! Stop pulling the race card. I support any fighter who shows heart and skills, regardless which colour their skin has.
