Good grief. Good luck finding another highly ranked contender that gives him that combination of payday, status, and vulnerability. atsch I've got nothing but respect for Adamek's career and his heart, but he's past it this point. A "top" prospect/up and coming contender like Jennings should've been clamoring for that fight.
Jennings appears to genuinely believe this move by KD was unfounded. I mean, I agree that he doesnt deserve 50/50, but for KD to move straight away from the fight in favor of the Glaskov fight seems suspect. I believe the two parties agreed and since she wasnt involved and her idea of 75/25 wasnt even close, she took her ego and her fighter another direction. Adamek will lose big time dough fighting Glaskov on NBC rather than Jennings on HBO, and he'll also be fighting a tougher styles fight vs Glaskov, one he very well may lose. Only thing he's got going for him with the Glaskov fight is the likelyhood that KD can find J Lederman to find a way to give Adamek the fight even though he's been kd'd 5 times and lost every rd but the 1st.:yep:yep:yep
Vitali Klitschko is the only boxer who has knocked out Adamek. I think Adamek would have beaten Jennings, he has shown that he is much faster now and his jab is really good.
smh James Prince has to realize that Kathy Duva/Main events/NBC are legit business people. This isn't the hip hop world lol. Sounds like some James Kirkland-type **** to me. As a fan of Bryant Jennings, Main Events was doing something good by keeping him active and matching him up well on their shows. Looks like those days are over. too bad because B.Y. was fun to watch in the ring.
You always pick against Klitschkos, Kovalev, Golovkin, Martinez, Boytsov, Pulaev, etc. Vlad said that he might fight Wilder, sometime in the near future, so after Vlad knocks Povetkin out, it could happen. I would like to see Vitali fight Wilder right after he fights Stiverne. Don't worry, Vitali will fight Stiverne in early 2014 and retire in early 2015. Then you will be rid of him and celebrate.
