Any version of Adamek SPARKS Tarver into a retirement home. Szpilka beat Adamek. Szpilka, though shiit on the higher levels is STILL by faaaaaaaarrrrr the better win than is Koyode. And Jennings best win is not Szpilka, but Fedosov, who would spark the Real King Clown in a rd. :nono
Hard to pick up a winner because Ortiz has fought no credible opposition yet. This is his first. Jennings is a solid fighter, tough, awkward, hard to hit, long, decent workrate, courageous, a lot of heart, decent skills, hard worker, a clear top 10 world HW today, but he can beaten by talent. I pick him in this one, which should be close.
I'd say Szpilka would ease to victory against boxcino Fedosov, Szpilka is atleast a level above him. Kayode may or may not beat Szpilka (itwould be close) but Ortiz killed Kayode and Jennings had a lot of difficulty with Szpilka. Tarver is just a bad match up for Adamek, he is too sharp and hits too hard. Adamek is a warrior but he's not the slickest around. Quality beats quantity in that match up.
Damned I couldnt disagree more. There is NO version of Tarver, whether beating on a weight drained RJJ or roided to gills drawing with USS. Any weight, any version of Adamek beats, no, KTFO any version of Tarver. As for Szpilka vs Fedosov. It's coming. Star boxing has been trying to make that fight. You saw how well Szpilka did vs retiree plodder Mollo in 2 fights. Now, imagine what a far more powerful, iron jawed one punch KO artist like Fedosov would do. Not even Celestino Ruiz could keep Artur's glass jaw from being sent flying into the crowd. At least vs Wilder, Szpilkas got a punchers chance. Vs Fedosov, he might only throw 10 punches, but as soon as one R hand connects.....fights over. :thumbsup
Lol Wilder would beat boxcino and szpilka on the same night. Boxcino would be a good warm up for the main event. Why do you like boxcino any way he is just average full stop. No real size, power, speed, skill or durability. Tarver is far more skilled than Adamek and he has a better chin as well with more power. Only way adamek wins is outworking him.
i fancy ortiz in this one ortiz as a pro has only fought low calibre opponents and a few trialhorses , but you can tell he knows the game inside out by watching him in the ring. being of the cuban amatuer programe means he has been a pro in all but name for all his career and would have faced all the top cuban fighters and jennings will have nothing he has not seen. on the minus side cuban pro heavys are notorious lazy and lackluster in big pro fights its as if getting to america and a better lifestyle dents there sporting ambitions we shall see with ortiz jennings fought not to get kod v wlad more than go all out for the win IMO he is a decent boxer /good shape/technically fine //stamina good but he does nothing outstanding. he is a solid hard working pro ortiz is relaxed /looks to slip anything coming and shoot the straight left down the pipe with power counter. its a hard punch to block if ortiz is not in shape and i dont know from the weigh in /some fighters like greg page/tony tubbs could carry weight but cardio wise were fine is ortiz one of these /he is not cut but looks ok and fighting relaxed will help him conserve energy jennings can use his legs get in and out and score , but i dont think he can do it all night and frustrate ortiz all the time. to win he needs to fight at high intensity and then from round 6 take over a tiring ortiz whose age and lack of conditioning make him not able to keep up with the younger fitter man. i expect maybe wrongly that ortiz is in shape /drops jennings sometime during the fight with straight lefts and wins a 116-113 type decision.
Gonna go with Luis Ortiz on this one. Bryant Jennings is tough but I think Luis Ortiz has way too much power and way too good of defense to get hit
i have not seen the fight to ****yse it , but pre fight if you took it on face value of what the fighters brought to the table, ortiz looked the better fighter. does not always pan out that the better fighter wins though.
