I've often wondered why American prospects never come over here on short notice. I cannot remember anyone of late coming over here with late notice to take a big fight. I know it'd cost a bit of money but if I was a Yank then i'd think about sacrficing some of my pay in order to come over and face a named guy like Jennings
just makes sense. if its 100% not cox in for brook for the vacant title, who else on the card could step up and fight for a belt? Stephen Smith maybe but Lindsay and Simpson are not going to step in at short notice. also it was frankie gavin who told us there might be another title fight on the card, and he trains with bellew. the liverpool crowd would deffo aprove. and it would not be difficult to get clev to vacate, and an afrobum in at short notice. other than that we were just getting ahead of ourselves and when gavin says "title fight" he means midlands area or english at best.
kevin mcintyre would be fit i would after all his fight got called a no contest after 2 rounds last friday and that was supposed to be an 8 rounder
u were right rob but no its not now bellew got a decent opponent tho who has 16 wins 15 by ko an 6 defeats i heard
its no title fight now but bellew got hi an no mines over six but i no they looked into a title fight but could not get it
Shitter eh Frankie. Hows training going ? Do you think it being over 6 now will give you a bit more time to relax ?
Barrett definitely had 8 weeks notice...... Adam Booth made a point about it in Boxing Monthly. ''It's not one of those bull**** two weeks notice Sports Network jobs'' :hey Good to see Warren putting the guys in six rounders - I just cannot see the point of a four rounder at all. I'd imagine that by the time you get properly the final bell has gone.
Opponent will be the legend himself............................. Lazlo Komjathi Dean was kind enough to give me a quick call and let me know.... Had to try and sound positive to be honest. Poor Dean. Not an easy job he's got. While retaining his win some lose some record Lazlo's durability has become increasingly questionable and with Jennings firing on all cylinders and not a big puncher one hopes there will be a great deal of caution from the referee in charge.
