This seems good for Jennings. J.D Jackson is one of the best trainers out there. I still think Jennings is the best american heavyweight currently, would probably KTFO Wilder. Lets hope J.D Jackson can teach Jennings some skills.
Jackson has his work cut out for him. Jennings has a bit of talent, but his boxing skills are very basic. And he is pretty old to be learning now. In the 70s, 80s, or 90s, I doubt Jennings ever cracks the top 20.
Good choice. Jackson knows how to box (and more importantly, how to pass that knowledge on). Just ask Bernard, who took several rounds to puzzle out a grizzled JDJ while in his own prime.
Jennings is very very boring. He's probably getting KTFO vs Ortiz. Although Ortiz may be packing fine Cuban china and even Jennings can KO him. Ortiz is old as hell too.
Won't be surprised if we see more KO's from Jennings from here on out. I think he has more power than people think. Jackson might be the trainer he needs to fully utilize his punching power.
This is part of the reason I think Jennings will beat Ortiz, I did a thread on this hook up a few months ago, JDJ is building himself quite the stable.
