Too bad so many won't be able to see it like they saw the Kimbo vs Thompson shitfest.

    The damage has been done.

So many now think that Kimbo vs Thompson is the best MMA has to offer. :yep

It's not that bad a deal. It stinks, but the sport was growing long before Kimbo Slice was anything but that scary black dude on YouTube. In fact, it further cements the UFC's dominance in the sport. I won't be surprised to learn that Dana White buys Elite within the next few years. The Kimbo "fans" weren't gonna become MMA fans anyways. Just Kimbo fanatics.

The UFC`s fanbase is hardly dissimilar to EliteXC. You want real fans look to the far East. Theres not many educated UFC fans. The demographic and marketting simply dont allow it.

Yep. Those japanese are real fans. You barely hear a boo out there, they stay quiet when its boring, and are very loud when theres action.

Also they treat the fighters extremely well, and with the respect that they deserve, which is more than you can say for some of the western fight fans.

I couldn't believe when those idiots started booing during Lawler - Smith. Best fight of the night, and absolutely no appreciation for what they were seeing. Very disturbing.

To be honest i cant stand any crowd that boos. This isn't WWE. people can get hurt and people get tired. If they need a little break, let them have it.

Also, i hate when two fighters are on the ground fighting for position or for a submission and the crowd starts booing. I mean ffs, give them a chance to fight.

EVERY sport has bandwagon fans.... every sport. But there's a solid fanbase of UFC fans who've been there for years, even when the powers that be in the UFC couldn't have hit water if they fell out of a boat in the middle of a freakin' lake.

yes, but four minutes of fighting for position will turn off most people who would try to give the sport a chance.

  12. I agree 100%. :good

The Faber/Pulver fight was one of the best!
