Jermain sounds like a real top bloke out of the ring.. Some of his ventures in the ring didnt work out for him but he's a credit to boxing
The one thing I like in boxing or any sport is after a good battle the participants hug and laugh with each other. There is nothing better to me than mutual respect. That is why I always loved Thomas Hearns. He went for the knockout everytime, but always hugged his opponent after and gave them respect. Hopkins is like Hagler. They are great when they win, but when they lose they act like they are hurt personally. Blaming the opponent for the judges scoring seems to be a waste.
Agreed with above comments, although Taylor was a little bit the snotty punk to Hopkins, sort of in that "Who is Carl Froch" type of mocking sense from the beginning. It never seemed appropriate for an allegedly well mannered Southern kid. 'Jilted schoolgirl' isn't anywhere near where Hopkins would be playing it. Agreed though.
