Looks like almost everyone is looking past Lacy here, he has a very good chance to win this in my opinion and I'm picking him.

    JT all day.

Jeff Lacy has just looked like crap lately so its tough for JT, he's gotta really have some pop and put on a show to get any credit.

If Lacy wins, well a lot of people will be scratching there heads, but we will have to give left hook some credit.

I like both guys but a far bigger Lacy fan for a long time now, can't help but support him in this one.

This is a must win, or at least a must be competitive for Lacy. Should be a good fight, and Taylor, who is a better fighter all around will win.

First off, JT is going to win this fight. Second, no he won't get a lot of credit but it will give him a big fight at SMW. This is a tune up for JT. It's a last pay day for Lacy.

Id like to see Taylor win and then Froch face Lacy. Taylor fighing Kessler. I cant see Froch having any of Taylor, too much for him to take, Lacy on the other hand could be a good one

If Lacy wins it would throw a hilarious spanner in the works of the MW (Taylor, Pavlik) vs SMW (Calzaghe, Kessler) battle. I am probably guilty of overrating Taylor in this situation but it is more the fact that Lacy has been dissapointing of late. I didn't think he won his last fight, i had it a draw but felt Lacy was lucky to get away from it without losing a point after his tackle tactic. Although Mendoza put in a gutsy performance and it produced a very entertaining fight.

What did you think of that fight and do you recon Jeff needs a stoppage to win against Taylor?

I can't see Lacy outpointing Taylor, he's too slow and seems gunshy nowadays, plus after the surgery and the beating from Calzaghe he just doesn't seem to have the same power or confidence. Taylor will probably outbox him from range and maybe stop him late on. He will get little credit if Lacy never goes onto do anything else because it's obvious to all concerned that Lacy has never been the sam since the Calzaghe fight and the shoulder injury!

Yes, Lacy needs a stoppage in this one if he plans to win, I can't see him scoring more than Taylor. I really don't know how well will Taylor handle Lacy's power but if he is able to avoid those big punches then he has this fight won, both guys have a chance to get a KO here because I also can't see Lacy taking Taylor's right hands well enough and at least it's safe to say that Taylor has far better defense in comparison to Lacy. All signs point at Taylor in this fight and I can't argue with them.
