I'm thinking of betting 1500 on taylor to beat lacy. Thoughts?

Also, I wanted to see some video of taylor fighting people other than pavlik....There was absolutely nothing on youtube.

I can't see Lacy winning unless it's an absolute fluke shot/cut/dq etc.

    Any1 else see it different?

Don't bet on Taylor...Lacy is not that bad.

You should ask yourself, when has Taylor outboxed anyone?

He has never fought a bigger puncher than Lacy. Taylor likes to stand and trade...he also likes to trade on the ropes.

This will not serve him well in this fight. He got beat up against a fighter like Winky Wright...he will get destroyed by Lacy.

    Lacy KO within 4

    Lacy is not that bad?

He has 3 consec close decisions vs. B-Class fighters (who will NEVER win an alphabet belt)...Decisions which all coulda gone either way.

O yea, before that he managed to lose EVERY SINGLE ROUND to calzaghe (an A-Class fighter who Taylor would have a chance against).

Taylor was able to stay undefeated through a 3 fight stretch in which he won close decisions/drawed vs hopkins/wright (2 top 5 p4p guys at the time). Before that, he dominated B-Class fighters Daniel Edouard, William Joppy, and Raul Marquez.

Also, lacy hasnt even knocked down his opponent last 4 fights (aka last 3 years)...And he's looked progressively worse. And he retired for 2 days (because he lost his passion for boxing) before taylor presented him a million dollar paycheck.

    lacy was
    poor v typsko (injury)
    poor v manfredo(no excuse)
    poor v mendoza.(no excuse)

evreything he once had , he looks like he has lost .

taylor looked poor v spinks/ouma/wright/good v pavlik 1 for a while/good v pavlik 2 for a long while but was not prepared to go out on his sheild and put the extra bit of effort in to get the win.

taylors best defense is his offense.

lacy best defense, does not exsist.

taylor needs to keep his jab pumping and arms moving.

if he backs up to the ropes like he did v wright and ouma, then that is lacys main chance.

team taylor should know this and will have planned for it.

this is taylor`s fight to lose.

This is the opportunity Jeff lacy has been waiting for...a chance to "shine" on the universal stage. Taylor has never faced a bigger puncher than Lacy. Plus, Taylor is moving up in weight. Taylor made a living off of fighting smaller, slower opponents. Lacy is bigger, faster, and stronger. Taylor will get knocked out in this fight. He will get hurt by a counter straight right hand...he won't see it coming. It will be over within 4 rounds.
