    Look guys.

Taylor was beating Pavlik the first time around on the scorecards. The second time he had Pavlik out, but didn;t finish the job.

Apart from that he has beaten Hopkins twice, drawn Winky (best jab p4p in boxing) etc.

The bottom line is that when Taylor is motivated, it takes a special fighter to beat him. Taylor is so underrated here on ESB it is ridiculous. I think it is a matter of the Lacy-effect happening where everyone that loses is seen as done and overhyped. Pavlik has felt some of the same overreaction to his loss at LHW to Hopkins.

Taylor did NOT loose like Lacy. And in hindsight we can see that even RJJ lost badly to Joe, so perhaps the whole Joe-Lacy was never as bad as it seemed at the time? Anyway, Taylor is NOT Lacy and it is unfair that he suffers from haters overconfidence of knocking American fighters, and some fan's reluctance to support the fighters they believe in - because they were so surprised by the Lacy loss that they don't know if they can trust their judgement.

Hell, we say tonight what a huge difference there is between Taylor and Lacy. Taylor cruised to an easy and wiiiiiide UD while going easy on his friend.

    Let's be fair

LMAO! A guy who didn't even see the fight & you're talking about how he looked & what he did tonite. I know I didnt see the fight live, but at least I dont pretend I did. You're just an actor JoeAverage, you're just a part-time ESB fan, you're an actor.

I did not see it live, but I have seen it now. And if you care to read the text you will see that the text is not so much about the Lacy fight at all. Find a dictionary and get to work.

I don't have a doubt that after this JT convincing win, JC can only be lured to meet JT. After all, at one time, JC vs JT was a potentially semi-mega fight a couple, three years ago and there's very few options on the table and in the 168-175 lbs range for JC if he chooses of fighting on. Basically, there are only three fighters out there: Bernard Hopkins for a rematch of the SD in Wales, Chad Dawson to decide once and for all who's who at 175, and JT at 168 lbs back again.

He was leading on the scorecards cuz he was a HBO hypejob,Pavlik wasn't getting credit. In the second one he didn't have Pavlik out at all(?) and he lost to Winky and Bernard(once).Yeah,he is really special.

HBO invested lots of money in J Taylor. They just want to recycle him and present him as a great fighter.

    HBO needs a reality check

but i guess majority of boxing fans are so easily brain washed to think who is "great" and what fight should be made

Just like a bunch of guys after yesterday fight, listening to HBO crew are screaming for Calzaghe - J Taylor.

The hate for Taylor is puzzling. He doesn't talk trash, he's willing to fight anyone, and he's classy in defeat. There's nothing to hate about this guy. I'm a big Hopkins fan, but Hopkins simply waited too long to start fighting in the first fight with Taylor, I was ok with the decision in the second fight as well. As far as the Winky fight, Winky needs to fight all 12 rounds. He coasted in the 12th round and paid the price. I had Taylor ahead in the first Pavlik fight before he got knocked out, and I scored the second fight for Taylor as well. Taylor is certainly a flawed fighter, but he does everything a fan could ask from a fighter.

i for one wasnt to impress. was when he was throwing his combination. and his defence . facing facts bout lacy mendoza gave him a very hard time. but for taylor he did say it was a comeback fight and had some rust. so how much can you bash i cant. just instead of rushing into a title fight he should keep doing a comeback and take on one of the prospects. or hell i dont care for the guy but allen green might make a good fight. he has good boxing skills and a decent punch. theres no need for a cal fight. i didnt like all that holding that was going on but dont know you can blaim him lacy lunges inwith his shoulder and head and swings careless. i say take on another fighter that will throw some punches and not just one at a time. compubox punch track was poor neither guy throw over 500 punches. lacy threw as much they said he just wasnt putting his punches together.
