Ohh the Sartison fight ...yeah Kessler got hit and then????....I believe Mikkel was too excited about getting his belt back and lost a bit of focus. As I recall he didn't get hit by that Right once more in that fight.

Häussler :patsch pls ...watch that fight once again ...the 1 time Häussler you think hit watch it again in slowmotion... I bet you'll see he didn't get hit.....

Calzaghe changed his gameplan as He's done his 3 times with success. But saying that Kessler was exposed to right hands is just plan stupid.

No he cannot. after the night he had w/ a clearly dispositioned lacy
i can't nor can any objective boxing fan say he has what it takes to beat an excellent fighter in the dane. There was nothing in taylor's figtht game that suggests that he is in any way shape or form in the same league as kessler.

I was also a little peeved that HBO's crew was calling for taylor/calzaghe and never once mentioned dawson's name.
They also metioned every fighter in SMW besides kessler until the end
    when lamps finally said it.

It looks like everyone is going the route of a casual fan!

But it's also very valid - there are too many posers on here who would never admit that they are biased in that very way - look what we have here after Taylor beating Lacy - all of a sudden, Taylor can beat Kessler.

Now, Taylor looked ordinary against Cory Spinks.

He was beaten twice by Kelly Pavlik.

Kessler's only loss was to Calzaghe in a fight in which he was very competitive. Apart from that, he has looked excellent in all of his fights, has never struggled with an opponent.

But for some reason, all of a sudden, Taylor can beat Kessler? :nut :rasta

Hi Semen Flow - I went nowhere, I was here the day after the fight.

BTW, why aren't you refuting my points with valid ones of your own instead of losing your cool and posting in big red letters to show how easily you lose it :think

Hey I'm not arguing with that. If you would have read my post after the fight, I stated that Kessler might be to accurate of a puncher for JT at this point. You will get no bias out of me.

But its gets tiring when I see people posting that somehow Americans are biased against foreign fighters. Sure, you got some knuckheads who spew this garbage, but most knowledgable American fight fans will tell you that Kessler is the man to beat at 168. To think otherwise would be foolish.

I just wish some of these Europeans would get over their inferiority complex. Lennox Lewis is considered an legend in the eyes of most Americans.

It's Taylor's flashy combinations along with his technical flaws against Kessler's textbook technique and solid talents. I would favor Kessler at this point. JT was not impressive IMO against Lacy. I expected a bit more.

Bull****! You weren't here (unless you were using another one of your aliases) because I was online for hours after the fight looking for your sorry ass. I was online everyday and there wasn't a peep from you for weeks. Lying son of a *****!

Hey mat, I appreciate your honesty, and I know most US fans are pretty good about it all. There is, however, a hardcore unit of arrogant pricks who think the world begins and ends in the US, and what you're seeing just now is a backlash from the Euro fans to all the pro-US **** that they've had to put up with for so long.

I mean, seriously, Calzaghe gets accused of ducking anyone he doesn't fight, and his record totally downplayed and ridiculed by certain parties.

And now we have Taylor being rated as a threat to Kessler, because he beat Lacy, a guy that Calzaghe demolished, and who Kessler would have beaten too. It just reeks of nationalism from these guys - Taylor has looked very ordinary against the likes of Spinks, was KOd by Pavlik, etc, yet because he beats Jeff 'Damaged Goods' Lacy, all of a sudden he's the man at SMW.

It's funny how these same guys knock Calzaghe's defeat of Lacy because apparently Lacy was an overhyped bum - but before the fight they were saying Lacy would decapitate Calzaghe.

They're just getting their own **** flung back at them :good
