Kessler has never beaten a fighter as accomplished/talented as Taylor. That's a fact. And I think Kessler will avoid Taylor like the plague.

 

Come on man - Mundine, Beyer, Lucas, a competitive loss to Calzaghe.

You'll note all of these opponents are not from the US, so that means they are not recognised nor rated very highly by certain people, but they are still decent opponents.

Mundine was top 3 SMW at the time he fought Kessler, Beyer was WBC SMW champ, Lucas was the WBC SMW champ previously and we know what Calzaghe is.

 

I believe Mundine is more talented than Taylor.

Define 'accomplished'.

While you're at it, define 'fact' because it looks an awful lot like your opinion to me.

I hope they get it on with Mundine's move down to MW, but since Taylor is at SMW now, it probably won't happen.

I think Kessler will beat him the same way Pavlik did. Tight, high guard, superior strength, aggressive jabbing and following up with some power punches.

I don't think the fight will happen, though. I think Kessler will probably clean up the division to some extent and then look for a step up to LHW. If he keeps fighting he'll have bigger fish to fry.

 

The difference with Kessler is he didn't just beat Andrade, Mundine, Lucas, Beyer....he demolished them. Mundine was the only one you could give a rounds to. Calzaghe is the only guy to cause him troubles, but it was still a close fight against an undefeated HOFer.

Hausler was never KO'd before, and his only losses were to Ottke and Veit (and some no name guy early in his career). Kessler disposed of him. Sartison is probably better albeit less acomplished than Lacy is now.

 

Don't feel like getting into semantics here but proof in the pudding is what Kessler thinks.......he'll avoid Taylor because he's scared of the # 2. :yep

 

Man, you guys are all ******ed. Trying to sit up here and explain to me how a boxing robot like Kessler is good & beat good opponents. Come on man, he's never beaten anyone good. He's beaten decent fighters, but no one good. I'm going to sleep now, this forum has been weak lately, only things ppl talk about is how Joe is an ATG or how overseas fighters are underrated & better. I'm not trying to hear anything about a robot named Kessler who just turned down a fight with Dawson. a real p4p fighter. Go hook up with the guys behind the set of the Transformers movie if & the Klitschko robots if you guys wanna talk robots in the ring. Peace!
