Still a big JT fan...had him up 106-102 going into the brutal 12th round. Round 11 bravado sapped him. Great fight though and big props to Froch!

    Jermain showed such heart.

He was 30 seconds away from being a champion.

I'm almost at the verge of tears now.. respect to Froch, hes a lion in his own right.

Gray just announced that 2 of the judges also had it 106-102 going into the 12th....that 11th round if he ran and then was able to run in the 12th he was NEW WBC Champ! This is another contest that points to why open scoring sucks...JT would have coasted this home.

Taylor again could have taken a knee at the very end and won. Earlier in the night I thought DeLeon ought to have got down on a knee when he was wobbling all over for his count.....thats a survival strategy that has cost JT twice now.

I think JT takes his money and retires now. He came back for the money. Won't be as much now.

How the **** can you say he came back for the money??!?

He showed a huge ****ing heart and hunger for the title.
He fell short, he's still a very good boxer and an ex- undisputed champ.. he has a lot of feathers in his hat and I will always stay a fan of his.
He was obviously not out for the money, he was out for the title.

Froch likely won't take a rematch but if 1 could be made I do not see JT retiring. He could likely also get a huge purse vs Bute in Montreal as he is still very viable. In fact the only difference between Bute and Taylor is that he had a ref help him at the end and JT got waved off.

Yes Hermit. You right about JT being to skilled for Froch and also the speed factor but I told you Froch could win in the same Pavlik did just be keeping the pressure on landing bombs.

I hope Froch won your respect today!
