Yeah, but those decisions were BOGUS, as was his gift against Wright. And then Taylor fought lighter weight fighters like Ouma and Spinks, and had trouble with them. As soon as he fought prime fighters at his weight, he got exposed. He's the biggest hype job fraud of the last 10 years.

Every major elite champion has a better resume than Calzaghe.
Calzaghe's resume looks weak like his buddy, Kessler's.
I think Butterbean's resume is stronger than Calzaghe's.

NO! Calzaghe has Taylor beat by a long shot in the area of whose the bigger Hype job. Taylor fought the best in his prime, and while his opponent was in or close to their primes. Except for Hopkins, this is true and he lost to Hopkins as did Joe Calzaghe. Except Calzaghe lost to an older, far less prime version of BHOP. :yep

Im not a Calzaghe fan, but Calzaghe himself was something like 36/37 when that Jones fight happened.

Hopkins could not stop him, Hopkins is bigger than Calzaghe to, always was, see the size of Hopkins compared to Calzaghe at the weigh in for that fight? fact is, Hopkins was never a MW, he was a LHW that cut weight to make the division, his debut was at 175 if i recall, although i could be wrong.

Tarver came down from HW and fought like he did not have a pulse.

Regardless of whether he won all the fights or not, the number of great fighters Taylor faced in their primes far exceeds that of Calzaghe (who's biggest name in their prime was Kessler, FFS), so yes, he does have a btter resume, unquestionably.

Hopkins fought at 156. Calzaghe fought at 168 all his life. Calzaghe is NOT smaller than Hopkins:rofl:rofl:rofl

Tarver NEVER fought at heavyweight:deal:deal That is a blatant lie.

He did, against DLH if i recall, but Hopkins is a very disciplined fighter, we know this, ive heard him say how much he respects Joe for making 168 for so many years as he had to come down from 175 and make 160 for years, also, just look at the size of the man, he is 6ft and looked huge for a MW.

Wish i could find the weigh in pics, they were on HBO but i cant find them now, trust me, Hopkins looked a lot bigger than him.

He never fought at HW, i did'nt say that though, he made the Rocky movie so had to put the weight on.

    Best Reality Post Award.
Prior to his meeting an old Hopkins and washed up Jones, Calzaghe had meet only B level ex-champions, C level Euro-bums, and a few dudes who worked in a department store underwear section.
Calzaghe wins the biggest hype of the century award.
Actually, he doesn't even deserve that. The award goes to his make-up man, Frank Warren. :yep
