Lucian Bute would be a better choice than Andrade.

Man, I feel sorry for the guy. He really did have that look in his eye that he wanted to win so bad. I just hope he's okay.

Damn I hope hes okay. I also hope that he'll make the right decision and retire permanently. JT doesn't have anything to prove, he racked up some good wins in his career, won the undisputed title and showed us all hes got heart.

Couldn't agree more. I hoped to see the old Jermain but I think we all knew that JT was long gone but had hoped otherwise.

JT. Take the money and run. You deserve it.

Do you have a link to that? You keep making the Mayorga claim but you are the only one I have ever heard it from.

Hope he's OK. Hope he calls it a day.

    Replaced by Bute or Pavlik.

weird to get a concussion from a shot to the chin unless he really smacked his head hard against the canvas.

I hope he's ok man. I was so happy for him that he didn't lose his stamina late in the fight

Green would get KO'd in this tourney. He barely beat an inactive 38 year old middleweight. Green would have gotten KO'd earlier than JT did tonight.

Pavlik has his road map in place. I don't see him wanting in. He still wants to unify. Sturm has shown willingness and after Pavlik beats Williams, he should be back in HBO's good graces. After tonight HBO should be eager to show an American beat a European, something HBO couldn't deliver.

yeah, it was a nice change for him. In fact, I thought he did pretty well up until the last minute.
    I hope he retires tho.

With no obvious major challenger remaining for Pavlik at middleweight – Arum said other options for Pavlik if he is successful against Lockett are Ricardo Mayorga, Marco Antonio Rubio and Arthur Abraham – Arum likes the idea of pursuing the big-money match against Calzaghe.

I really hope he's okay. Ideally, good to go - as I feel he can salvage some dignity by winning at least one fight in the Group Stage of this tournament (2nd fight, against Ward). Even if he can't come back and some inferior schlub like Green needs to be subbed in, I just really hope he's okay in terms of long-term health. He's already has his brains rattled a bit and an extremely hard puncher just landed a perfect shot on the button. :verysad
