Taylor at this time thought he was the greatest because HBO had inflated him so...it took Pavlik's beating to bring him back to earth. He was a great fighter if you can totally ignore his reign at MW champ. From the second fight with B-Hop to the Spinks borefest, he was horrible. The rest of his career was exciting. He either won with style or went out on his shield. That aspect of Taylor made him a warrior.
We can go back to and look at JC and CLAIM that he is a coward, but isn't. The body of work for JT is there. End of story.
what the thread start unintentionally did is made us realize that taylor, with only half as many fights has twice the resume of calzaghe. congratulations!
You can't BAN me for giving my opinion. If you can't debate without using insults, then don't get involved. Calzaghe would have beaten Taylor with ease; everyone in the world knows it. And a resume includes your entire boxing career - including losses. So we won't even go there.
It is pointless trying to debate with someone who is talking complete garbage. But as a previous poster has said you have at least made people think about how much Jermain Taylor achieved in his career. For that you are to be commended.
Are you telling all of us that calling Taylor a coward is even worth debating? If that is your opinion, then **** your dumb opinion. Again, **** off.
