i am having that feeling again on the tip of my ***** when i think of this fight, this can only mean jermain taylor will win by ko.... see this thread http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21982&highlight=haye+knock+mormeck alot of ****ers laughed at me, but just look at the results.
Definently see him winning a decision but highly unlikely he'll win by TKO. He already proved that he doesn't have enough firepower or too strong of a chin to win that way.
That's funny - I took Taylor to win the first fight - and now I'm taking him again. OK - Pavlik won the fight - but the fight was almost over in the 2nd round. They both will do better with the extra 6 pounds. I'm still going with Taylor - just like most of you.
You may have gotten one fight right with the same feeling you have about this one, but it's always best to predict with your head and not your *****. Anyways, Pavlik will stop Jermain Taylor again. The weight (166) will favor Pavlik because he is naturally bigger, will have a better punch resistance, and is stronger. Pavlik will not get in trouble as he did in the last fight. He will stick behind a double jab while pursuing Taylor. His straighter, less telegraphed punches will reach the target once Taylor gets busted up with the jab and worn down. Expect a similar result (Taylor getting nailed at the end of a few long punches to which Pavlik follows up on). TKO anywhere from 5-8 * The thing I see making a big difference is Pavlik's better ability to adjust. He can fight in several different styles and fight according to the opponent and what style would be most effective. Taylor is not one to adjust as he has shown in the past. He has the same bad habits as he did when he began his career. Expect him to employ a similar strategy (head movement, sharp jab, counter punching), but once he gets hit, he will drop his hands and back straight up into the ropes.
It wouldn'y shock me but i don't think it will happen.I think Taylor will be more cautious this time but Pavlik will grind him down by the 9th or 10th for another brutal KO:good
i got cotto-judah, tyson-holyfield, lewis-holyfield 2, mosley-de la hoya 1, morales pacquaio 1 and now haye-mormeck.
The obvious thing to say here is that Taylor will win because of the second round last time , when Pavlik got up and then Taylor knocked him flying across the ring I thought the fight could have been stopped . But if you look at boxing history there have been many occasions when a great champion has struggled in a defense or a title fight and then went and won the rematch . Mayweather against Castillo was a example and Nelson against Fenech and Louis/Walcott and many others aswell . The question is is Pavlik a great champion. Also You don't think Taylor showed firepower against Pavlik
