Taylor looked good in his last fight, he just can't take a hard punch. Offensively he's solid.

As many have pointed out, JT has no punch resistance. Yes, he is solid offensively, but I think something is wrong with him. I fear for his health. I'm not going to watch any more of his fights.

Of course it's his choice if he wants to keep on fighting.

He seems like a nice guy.

It does make sense^, Jermaine will still be remembered as a top fighter, by many, from his championship days and would put a recognised name on Kid Cs resume.

I can't see Jemaine achieving anything at the top level now, but I guess cashing out on his name is a right he's earned. As you say Candelo, followed by another journeyman and then Jacobs or Quillin seems about right. I could see it being Jacobs instead of Quillin as he needs the exposure more at the moment, and it wouldn't be a bad lead in towards the Kid C - Jacobs fight that's been brewing for a while.

Taylor still has some left if he can keep his chin tucked in. He easily beat Caleb traux and that is looking like a better win now than it did last year.

If he keeps his pace and stay on the outside he can give quillin and Jacobs problems.

Remember when Saul Alvarez was completely unknown and starting to make waves, very early in his career...often referred to, as now, solely by his nickname...and most people were all confused upon hearing of his exploits, like "What? JC Candelo is still around? People still consider him a prospect? :blood"

Yeah. That was several years ago.

He still has some skill left its just his block is like more out of fear than a block

I think maybe if he gets repeatedly dropped in a fight but not badly hurt it might do bad for him in the long run

Easily? :yep He was dropped and hurt badly in the 9th. Granted, that lone 10-8 is the only round I gave Truax, but some had it closer and Taylor was putting in the bare minimum to separate himself in a lot of those frames and not really looking a level above.

You are correct that it looks better now with Truax's run since, however. Back then it was humiliating, and now considerably less so.

He did get dropped and hurt badly. But still winning 9 out of 10 rounds is winnin easily.

Anthony Dirrell? :think That seems foolish. Taylor should be able to keep scraping by relatively lower risk opponents and trade on his former name value to position himself for a payday or title shot without having repaid his dues by tusssling with the likes of Dirrell.

Dirrell, fall down on canvas, complain, hold, run................................

Taylor needs to work on his defense and stamina..........
