    :patsch

Why even post in a boxing forum, if you know nothing of the sport?

Well, Taylor is a boxer-puncher stylistically, he's not a sound defensive boxer at all. Skill wise, the fight is pretty close, people are just judging from Taylor's opposition.

The guy said Pavlik is the new Monzon. He said Pavlik is the better boxer.

Neither is even CLOSE to being the truth....even you Am have to admit that.

Wrong. Pavlik is just a solid, B level MW boxer-puncher, nothing like a Monzon.

Taylor is also B level compared to the real P4P elite, he's nothing to be impressed with and never has been.

This is a B level fight.

As I said...nothing like Monzon. Hense my post.

About the second thing. Taylor has better footwork (he actually has great footwork), better movement, a better jab, uses better leverage on his punches, is more accurate, etc.

Kelly is stronger and hits harder.

    Hense my post again.

But I think again you arent looking at the big picture here. How many fighters would look to be a B level fighter against Hopkins, Winky, Ouma and Spinks? Just about anyone if you ask me.

You will see in just under 24 hours bro.

I think this will be a competitive fight. When the fight was announced I went with Pavlik but as the fight draws closer I am starting to sway toward Taylor. I still pick Pavlik, but only just.

Well of those that you named.....Abraham, then Sturm (tho I feel he is RIDICULOUSLY overrated), then Taylor..................................THEN PAVLIK.

Pavlik isnt a good boxer. His fundamentals are awful. Footwork, movement, etc. They are not good at all.

I do think he is a really good FIGHTER....dont get me wrong. He has a good chin, very good power in both hands, high output, etc. But as a boxer, he is leaps and bounds BELOW Taylor.

Samuel Peter is also a former Olympian. Does that mean he is a master tactician/technician?

The two best middleweights today fighting against each other. It may be B-level in terms of the entire history of the sport's All Time Greats, but it's very significant here and now.

The winner, incidentally, will be A level regardless of how you define it.
