I am excited about moving up to the Super-Middleweight Division and looking to start my campaign there this fall.

So, we can stop the speculation on him for now.:-(

Yeah. I know. Until he gets up there and starts fighting or Kelly finally moves up, no real way to judge and compare fights between the two groups.

A possible fight with Trinidad is mentioned there, didn't Trinidad announce his retirement after RJJ?

I heard that fell through, but since he mentioned the flooding, I figured this must be fairly recent. I really was hoping to see him sooner. Pavlik is the home town boy, but Jermain earned my respect big time prefight/fight/postfight.

Been a fan of Jermain since his Olympic days, was really sad to see him fall to Pavlik but I'm pretty confident he'll make a good come-back. Don't know if the decision to move up is good with all the talent in the MW division but we'll see how it goes.

I personally believe JT stayed at MW too long. I think this led to some of the fights at the end he was criticized for. He tried to get Pavlik to agree to a catch weight instead of the title fight weight! I hope/think he will be better off. Time will tell.

Hoping for that as well, it's also safe to say that whether Pavlik beats Abraham or not he will move up sooner or later, so will Abraham so Taylor might be making a good decision. A third fight with Pavlik could happen if he does good there or a fight with Abraham if he wins, Miranda will be there too so it should be exciting. Hoping for the best as well. Only fighter I'll root for over Abraham right now is Taylor.

Easy point win IMO. AA won't do enough to tire him out and catch him late.

That's my pick too, think Taylor can beat Abraham if this fight is made though I'll pick Abraham over Pavlik.

Yeah this would be a good fight for Taylor. Taylor has shown he can break through Turtle Shell defense well and I don't think AA has the ability to tag him much.

I want to see him fight again. One of the best current fighters I don't know why he always gets ****-talked on these forums.

Jermain Taylor is nothing but class. Seems like hes been getting more respect now after taking on a killer like Kelly Pavlik on twice back to back. As much as I'd hate to see Trinidad get beat around the ring, That is a good fight for Taylor..It would be kind of a confidence builder and a fight that would put him back into the swing of things.

He used to get praised a lot here, especially after his first fight with Hopkins, then the second fight the support was HUGE. When he called out Winky the support became even bigger here, then his fight with Ouma and Spinks kind of destroyed it, especially the Spinks fight. Taylor's performance just went downhill, was never focused as he used to be and it could be because he won it all in just 1 fight and lost that hunger fairly quickly, though he showed a lot of it against Winky but after that it just wasn't the same. Then the Pavlik fight comes, he trained really good for that one, lost, rematch, he loses again and 90% of the fakesters that jumped the bandwagon because they hated either Hopkins or Wright switched instantly.

Wouldn't want to see Trinidad get destroyed either but that is definitely a good start after 2 losses.
