I wish he would just take this year off and be with his family. Im writing him off and don't think he'll ever get a big win again.

If he is going to fight he needs to have some 10 rounder against someone that isn't going to put him in danger. Personally I want to see him fight babybean at heavyweight in a 4 rounder.

fighters do not recover from a knockout like this 1:13
if people think jermain should fight again
take a hard long look out this knockout the guy is going to end up brain dead if he continues to fight

The article said JT will be back late this year. It will be one year since the abraham fight in October. I'd like to see him do something like a co-feature on Shobox; a 10 rounder against someone like Peter Manfredo, or Enrique Ornales. Try 2 or 3 fights at that level, and if he does okay, step up a little.

Man I hate to say it but JT needs more time...just needs to stay active and get bigger right now....he is very small at 168 and it plays a huge disadvantage ...

I really don't like the move by JT, I think he should take a page out of Hatton's book and really just recharge the batteries and really think about his future. If he does decide to fight (which is what it looks like he will) then do what Boo said, fight a couple of C+,B-,B type fighters, and if you can handle them with ease then may'be make the step up again.

I am against Jermain continuing, but if hes intent on doing it then id want to see him vs Sturm or Daniel Jacobs.

Two very winnable fights for Jermain against decent opponents...

There are no 168lbers that i would really want to see Jermain in with at this point, so IMO he should go back down for a few fights at 160.

Thats just it.... If jermain is going to continue hes pretty much out of the loop.

160 is Pavliks territory, and hes not beating Pavlik, especially now.

168 is overflowing with dangerous matchups or guys that have already beaten him.

Get two decent paydays against Jacobs and Sturm, they would be nice wins and then retire.

He should fight Librado Andrade who is also trying to come back from his loss to Bute.

With all due respect to JT, I'd love to see him go away. He has a nice family it seems, hopefully he's invested wisely, and he can leave knowing he was the undisputed MW champ at one point....I just don't want to see him at the bad end
of a knockout again. But good luck to him

He shouldn't go for a third fight with Hopkins imo. But we don't know what his finances look like, so that might be what he ends up doing.

JT needs to step away from the game at this point. :-(

While we all are speculating, HOPEFULLY he is getting sound advice from the people around him. That said, DiBella said he won't touch him ever again. I think he knows.

Jermain has too much pride to work his way up I can't see him facing a B or C class fighter. He needs to take this year off the guy has suffered two devastating ko's and needs time to recover.
