Probably, yes. He's always been a tough, entertaining warrior though, so I hope it goes well.

Agreed. Have a feeling it won't go all that well though.

Back at middle it will be interesting to see what he has left. The break should have served him well at his age.

Well at the very least we might see Pavlik-Taylor III down the road.

Wouldn't mind seeing Martinez-Taylor down the road though, if JT can actually make 160.

Great news. Perfect time to come back to MW. I think he can win a title given how weak the division is.

Yeah, absolutely. I'd love to see him and Martinez on a card together, leading up to a fight. That would be a genuinely good, competitive fight, I think. Their styles would mesh well.

i dont think he can take a punch anymore. he went to ar with everyone that koed him though, in fact he had them down in out before they had him out. taylor always seemed to tense to me and would tire quickly as a result kinda like pascal. but taylor after a few fights at 160 gets a shot a martinez would be a good scrap.

    Good for him. :good

Everything in that article is a positive - rejoining Burns, moving back down to middleweight...

As long as the opponent isn't a big puncher (nor the next few opponents, really) this is OK with me.

I told y'all he wouldn't have said he was coming back if he didn't fully intend to.

    This.

It seems like only yesterday Taylor was on the front of The Ring, getting ready to challenge Bhop for the first time...

I'd much rather see him stay retired, this has bad ending written all over it. Rarely do these kinds of things ever go well. The sport has passed him by. He must need money. Sad. If your out for 2 years with a brain injury, what other reason would you come back for? He has kids and a wife to think about. Thumbs down for me on this.
