Some claiming that Taylor is overrated because he was beaten by Pavlik, Froch and Abraham. They are angry with him. Taylor can box though.

Wasn't Leonard a blown up Welterweight coming off 3 years of inactivity and drug usage all the way to Middleweight to confuse an all time great like Hagler?. Of course a dumbass like yourself would think I'm comparing Leonard to Spinks, so I hope for the sake of brains in general you don't even attempt to go there, my point is obvious, ANYONE in the ring with ability can confuse his opponent regardless of age, size, power or anything if the style is confusing. Please mention ANYONE that looked good fighting Spinks?

A ****** like you shouldn't even think about calling me drunk after a ******ed clueless thread like this.

If Spinks was a joke he would have been KO'd within 3 rounds at best, fact is his style is what's confusing and it has confused all the guys he fought including guys that he lost against. Learn a thing or two about styles in boxing and how certain styles can make other look terrible and boring when mastered successfully.

I would be expecting a response like "what is styles?", "boxing?", "middleweight man", "size isn't everything?".

Google and youtube are your friends, don't play stubborn when you're clearly clueless and pathetic.

I didn't think Taylor deserved the decision in either fight with a past-prime and apparently weight-drained B-Hop. Therefore, I'd have to agree with you. His career has been a busted flush.

If he used his jab then over hand right more he'd do alot better. Whenever he kept landing on Jeff Lacey he gave him masses of trouble along with Froch. I respect Taylor though for fighting whoever has been put in front of him.

    yes sir!! :good

and just to be clear, i wasnt trying to throw those three guys under the bus i was just trying to make a point. ricky and oscar especially are/were great for boxing. they really helped sell the fights they were in and the sport is better b/c they were here.

Why the **** do you keep saying 'gifts'!!??
In no way, shape or form were they gifts.
They were all extremely close fights.

Sure, they were close. That's how HBO was able to get the decisions for it's latest hypejob - not once, but three times in a ROW! That's no accident. HBOs power, and Hopkins and Wright's unpopularity with the boxing establishment, ensured that those great fighters would be SCREWED to build the record of HBO's latest poster boy. It was a monumental injustice - boxing corruption at its finest!

Taylor was overrated because he was in the top 10 p4p list for a little while.

i do like him though, he was always limited in his skills but he was a very hungry fighter before all of the K.O.s he took.
