If Taylor had adequate stamina to win this he would not have lost to Froch or Pavlik, so you can see how this goes cant you.
I agree that the key for Taylor is stamina, that was the reason he lost the fight with Froch, and the second fight with Pavlik.
I was just watching JT-Hopkins I. He really counterpunches quickly and with authority-like pop pop. He's not knocking anyone out IMO and those two KO's are just looming. Even if he is up on the cards late, and he probably will be in every fight, it is going to be on everyones mind including his. I think he would have been lucky to not draw either Abraham or Froch first.
Taylor will win the super six ... at least make an appearance in the finals ... his biggest test in the tournament will be himself. He's the most proven fighter in the tournament ... and he was :20 or so sec's away from being a two division champion. Jermain does good against athletic fighters ... he has trouble with methodical fighters ... and some times abandons his ability and skills to go for the knockout ... like his trainer Ozell Nelson said, Jermain didn't get this far by knocking guys out, he's a boxer and we need to get Jermain back to boxing. I also think that his training will coming in to play, but whenever Jermain has been given a second chance at something he always bounces back better than he was the first time around. He sorta like Antonio Tarver when it comes to come backs ... but hopefully he'll make the best of it while his skills and abilities are still intact. Defensively ... he's the best in the tournament - yeah Kessler is good but he's too predictable. He doesn't have anything outside of the straight 1-2 ... the rest of his shots are wild coming out of his combination ... He had Calzaghe with the right uppercut but couldn't finish him off because of Calzaghe's adjustments ... Kessler couldn't adjust with Calzaghe and thats going to come back and haunt him in the future.
