If I was working for Showtime, this is the fight that I'd want Jermain Taylor to take next. Hope it happens!

    How about you?:think

No,if you were working for Showtime you'd feed Taylor Manfredo as a toon-up comeback fight because you have to keep him alive.
Taylor will surely take an easier fight now.

Taylor's never taken easy fights, except for Lacy, and frankly, if he starts taking them now, it's probably a sign he'd be better off retiring. Also, if he doesn't beat Bika handily, he's finished anyway.

He's 3-3-1 in his last 7 and just got knocked out and dumped by HBO and his Showtime debut was terrible.
Make no mistake,he will have a fairly easy fight next.
And Bika would give him troubles anyway.
And DiBella has said that Jermain will think about retiring if he losses with Froch(you decide if you belive him or not).

Manfredo is a good bet - safe, yet reasonably marketable. Peter has to be getting tired of being everyone's whipping boy, though, doesn't he? Also, it sounds as though he's moving to 160 (Manfredo, that is).

No way, though, that Taylor takes Bika next. He definitely needs something softer than that.

they still can squeeze one big payday out of Taylor he won't retire. He will take an easy fight and then get another title fight for some decent money. He loses that one and he is finished. There is still a little $$$$$ to be made with Taylor.

    Yes,you are right about everything.
Then Jesse Brinkley for the soft spot yet marketable:D.
    He's on a roll anyway.

I've always been a big JT fan, but I honestly don't see too many quality years left for him. After securing the middleweight championship he said he planned on retiring at 30yrs old. The only reason he's still fighting now is because things haven't gone as planned since he beat Hopkins. I think Dibella will try and manufacture one more title shot for JT at 168 or 175 and that's about it. If he wins the title, he'll cash out; if he loses the next title shot, he's done on the big stage.

I think JT should take the Miranda fight next at 168. It'd be the perfect crossroads matchup b/n two rivals with alot to prove.

If Miranda beats Ward,if not it would be a pointless fight.
    High risk,low reward.
