    Froch hits harder than Pavlik. Unless Jermain gets real cute and pulls out a career boxing performance, he's going to get caught sooner or later, and he will be put to sleep. :deal

    It's not just about how hard you hit in absolute terms. It's also about whether you can land, and whether you can land flush, and whether you can land repeatedly and effectively. Pavlik's attack was very effective against a fighter like Taylor. Froch's is much less effective, even if we assume he hits harder in absolute terms. In my view, Taylor need not perform better than ever. As long as he performs reasonably well, he will win fairly confortable, no matter how well Froch performs, unless Froch gets lucky, of course.

    Ps. Pascal is not C+. He is B-. Froch is B- to B. Taylor is B+. Given their styles, he should beat Froch even if he is performing at B to B+ level fairly confortably.

    Im beginning to hope Taylor wins this fight because I dont really think I could handle all the excuses if he loses. Fact is Froch is going to America to defend HIS title and judging by their last performances this fight should be memorable. Froch will win by Knock out trust me.

    I'm going with Taylor by UD ... but i'm not ruling out a stoppage ...

    Taylor may not be the fighter liked by many, but one thing in his favor is schooling ... he was a world class amateur fighter and a former world champion on the pro level.

    He went through some tough times during his pro career living up to the hype, but he's a good technical fighter.

    He has the ability to throw straight punches, he has a good jab, he has a good right hand, and he has good movement in the ring.
    I think his defense is underrated and his power won't play a factor in this fight.

    You can break a fighter down technically and not have to worry about knocking him out with power ... you throw punches to the body and you get clean effective shots off to the head ... and the body will crumble.

    Froch isn't technically sound ... he doens't have the world class schooling ... and he doesn't have the world class pro opposition.

    I think he's in over his head and is trying to boost himself up by trash talking ... when you talk it ... you have to walk it when it comes down to it.

    Jermain is a physical athlete who can adjust and use his athleticism to his advantage.

    i think its hard to gauge how good a boxer is when there style is as unorthodox as frochs

    win or loose he can be a factor in the SM for 2-3 years!
