Yes, I mean the second fight with Pavlik where he was the first man to take him 12 rounds and stayed on his feet the entire time in an effort that many people thought was enough to win.

The only fighter who's walked out of the ring against Kelly without a mark on his face is BHOP.

And notice I just said his defense improved; not that he is the new Winky Wright. You've got to give him credit for correcting some of the glaring flaws in his game.

As for the Lacy knockdown, he bounced right back up. Honestly I think hitting the mat scared him more than it hurt him. Taylor's biggest flaw is between his ears, and you could almost see in his eyes after the KD that he was sorting some things out in his head, probably trying to block out flashbacks of the first Pavlik fight.

Comparing Froch's defense to Taylor's is a joke. Carl keeps his hands at his waist with the misconception that he is the second coming of Roy Jones Jr, without realizing his reflexes are just on par with Christopher Reeve.

His face was swollen how thus that count as his face being clean. He was staggering most of the fight. Giving him credit for lasting 12 rounds isn't saying much. How about him actually winning.

I'll give him credit when he shows these so called "improved defense" against a fighter that has two good arms and a pulse. Which your in luck because he's gonna get one in Froch.

Well can you tell me his favorite book too. Since you can apparently read his mind. While you watch on the tv screen. :yep

At least Froch actually moves his head. Taylor just stands there a takes it. Which cost him in the first Pavlik fight. Taylor also has no footwork which is sad because people always say he's a good athlete.

I'd suggest you ignore this Brood3 character. It's national ****** day, and the short bus now has wireless internet access.

It has been a tedious couple days. Pavlik was doing his post fight interview when the hate started. WTF?

Can you even read? I didn't say Taylor's face was clean, I said Hopkins was the ONLY guy to leave the ring with Kelly and not have a mark on him. And Taylor was staggering most of the fight? It's amazing then that he did enough in many people's eyes to win him the fight. Please, stop the idiocy.

Froch moves his head? Then why did Pascal hit him at will? If Pascal hadn't gassed halfway through their fight, Carl wouldn't even have a belt right now. :hi:

Sure Taylor's game could use some work, and there is a chance Froch could stop him, but there is almost ZERO chance Froch outboxes him, which is what you seem to be predicting. :-(

I've been proclaiming this seems to be "Idiot Day" on ESB and even I wouldn't touch that one.

    I can't help it.

When confronted with a train wreck, most people are contend with turning their heads to look, but they ultimately keep moving.

I, on the other hand, like to get out, check out the extent of the damage, smell the carnage, kick a few of the bodies for good measure and then go, "Are you ****ing serious with this bull****?" Knowing that ultimately I could trip and fall over a severed head, land on a sharp, rusty piece of debris and die a slow, painful death.

I know the risks, but I just can't stop myself.

I didn't vote but favor Taylor. I'll wait at least until the fight is made or closer to fight time. Taylor is still an unknown at 168, but I know his basic skill set is very good.
