Yep. Just like he was "scared" to fight him period.

So scared that he is going to step into the ring with him.

I wondered to be honest. Should have gone up and quoted the original to make it clear. I haven't seen this guy make a boxing related post yet. Sounds like some kid signed up to troll. Mods will catch up with him soon enough. It takes a true idiot to accuse some one of being illiterate and then misspelling illiterate. :rofl I just can't pass up replying to posts like that. Problem is, they aren't smart enough to know when they are owned. :-(

Since I was agreeing, I quoted your post. But the message was intended to the troll. I'll do better next time. ;)

Hopefully we will be free of the Frochluddites come April. Then the Hayturds will follow in June. That will make it easier to have a civil, rational discussion. I'm really starting to wish ESB would use the Slashdot software. It gives out moderator points so people can moderate posts up or down. You set your account to a certain level and you don't even see the troll posts. It would make the place a lot cleaner for people interested in boxing first.

Well Froch is the champion why does he have to go over there. Everyone under the sun knows that Taylor doesnt want to fight Froch. Even the guru of boxing Bunce said so.

OK. I just found out what this feature is but it is very useful. That " next to the "quote" button is for "mulit-quote". You can click on it numerous times and when you finally click on "quote" ALL of the messages you have tagged with the " will show up. Very neat feature.

depending on what suide of the pond anyone's 'guru' is will pretty well dictate what they say.

froch is still a paper champion and hasn't achieved half he respect or level of opponents taylor has.

Froch holds a title that Taylor turned down initially. Froch was picked to make sure Taylor won the WBC belt. The WBC wants the cuts that Taylor can bring them. Froch will make them crap in comparison. There is a difference between "champ" and "belt holder", or in this case, "Place Holder". The belt is a bargaining chip and nothing more. Froch is now finding that out. Taylor announced his next fight sending Froch scrambling to try and salvage the payday he can ONLY get by facing Taylor. He is also stalling to let his ribs heal, at least that is what I believe.

I seriously hope you're joking about Taylor not wanting to fight Froch and Steve "Jennings is going to beat Cotto" Bunce being the guru of boxing.

And the fact that Froch is willing to accept a smaller payday to come to the states and fight Taylor on his home soil should tell you exactly why it's not taking place in the UK. Froch's got little leverage compared to Taylor and needs Taylor more than Taylor needs him. His submission to Taylor's terms is all the proof you need.

Froch needed the fight more than Taylor. That's called negociations. Taylor doesn't need Froch. He doesn't even need a belt to have big fights and pile cash. Froch is stil unproven against elite opposition and need a win against Taylor to make him a real big name in the division. So he accepted to travel to Taylor's country. Nobody is scared here, nobody is mean. It's only business. Being a champion doesn't mean you can always box in your hometown.

    good post.

but it's what froch does after this fight, however it goes, which will determine if he's going to milk the locals like sturm or take the bull by the horns.

remember that sturm had his moment of glory against oscar, many thought he won that fight, and sturm STILL settled for bridesmaid honours.

    let's see what froch does.
