No problem with that. My posts get a little too caustic sometimes in response to the Froch fans. I think that Froch knows the WBC is going to make him face some stiff opposition though and wants at least one "career payday". He has earned that and I don't fault him for that at all. The fight with Taylor could set him up for life. Especially if he makes the right investments with the bad economy. Just wait for the upturn. He is probably smart enough to be thinking "outside the ring".

That was the point of my post. Froch wants one guaranteed big payday. He earned it. He deserves it. Then he doesn't have to worry about his future.

If Froch kept his ****ing hands up then it would be an easy choice in a hard fight. Seeing as he keeps it glued to his hip I can see him getting stopped or losing UD.

Why is it so many fighters keep their hands so low nowadays? It really pisses me off. Froch basicly has no defence and his chin can only take so much before it cracks.

For anyone who's interested, Bute's trainer, Stephane Larouche, actually slightly fancies Froch in this one, despite the fact that a win for Taylor could lead to a Bute v. Taylor unification fight in the near future, and would thus suit Bute more.

Larouche thinks Taylor's a little bit overrated and that he hadn't developed that well lately. He thinks Froch might be a bit too big and tough for Taylor.

I hope Taylor's people are showing him these articles/videos where people are picking him to lose and calling him overrated. He seems to train hardest and fight the best when he feels like he's got something to prove.

Aye...and I was surprised to see Larouche say those things...he never usually does that kind of stuff...I mean...he could have said: Froch's underrated, instead of saying Taylor's overrated...:think

...but then...Larouche picked Kessler to beat Calzaghe, for example too...so...:conf
