If Froch is any good, he will expose "Gift Decisions" Taylor easily.

Froch is gonna destroy Taylor just like Pavlik did. Froch is just waay too consistent for Taylor.

    sean's view.

He gives Froch around 20-25% of winning.

Jermain has proven in so far that he cannot adjust and control a fight mentally. All he can do is that physicallity and more physicallity and more... He doesn't know how to use those angles, he can't really countermove on his opponent's lead and he can't absolutely fight patient. Froch will most probably dominate using controlled aggression if he doesn't freeze or gets too cocky.

Good summary of this line of argument, Dorfmeister!

Taylor is with his old trainer now...no longer with that guy Emmanuel Steward, who near ruined him. He'll be fighting more controlled, more intelligently, pacing himself more, thinking more, losing control of the situation less...

...Froch, controlled aggression? Only when he fights punching bags...

...against C level Magee and against B- level Pascal, he showed anything but controlled aggression...and if Taylor doesn't fold late on, Froch will not be able to gain the upper hand...and even if he does, it might be too late for a points win, by then.

it will be a very intersting fight! if Taylor want some credibility at 168lbs he need to win against Froch and in the other side Froch want to prove his a legitimate Champion .

Both boxers Strenghts match-up there opponents weakness so im looking forward for this fight!

Look at this excerpt from an HBO article written leading up to the Taylor/Wright fight, about Taylor's first experiences with Steward and being in the Kronk Gym...

Honestly I think this is where Steward went wrong with Taylor. Nothing against Taylor, he's one of my favorite fighters, but he's not the kind of fighter you want improvising in the ring. He does much better with a structured, disciplined gameplan. On a tight leash, he's a dangerous weapon - a machine who will execute the commands he's given. Give him too much rope, and he'll hang himself.

    I agree.:good

Yes, and that is a concern, especially when he walks back in a straight line when under pressure. This is why Froch has a chance, with his reach and uppercut down the pipe, especially with Taylor content to just keep a high guard and not move his head much.

If Jermain decides to trade with Froch and abandon the jab and gameplan,he will KO'd quickly. His tactics early on in the Lacy fight will see him get stopped aswell

Taylor needs to "stand up" to Froch early on, though, just like Pascal did. He needs to let Froch know he's the boss in there if Froch tries to walk all over him, as he tends to do against lesser opposition, early on. Then, Froch will freeze a bit and he'll become less dangerous. Froch is a confidence fighter and you need to dominate him mentally if you want to do your thing.

Yeah...Froch's used to having a longer reach than his opponent. This time, he doesn't. Jab wil be important and Taylor should use it as he did in Pavlik II, for example.

I'm sure Taylor will look to assert himself early on with straight rights and uppercuts just like in the Lacy fight but I think that will play into Frochs hands. That is his sort of fight.Thats just how I see it

No doubt the jab is the key for Jermain but I expect Taylor will look for a quick start rather than box behind the jab and throw combinations like he should.

No...it won't play right into Froch's hands at all, not unless Taylor asserts himself whilst throwing caution to the wind, going crazy and punching himself out, brawling. Watch the Pascal fight again, and see how Pascal standing up to him early on, after a great start for Froch, makes Froch more reluctant to open up. Had Pascal not done that, he'd have gotten stopped.
