the fact that most people who pick froch do by ko, isn't because they think his only chance is a lucky punch. it's because froch has very good power and great chin, but taylor is the better boxer, so it's logic that most people will pick froch by ko or taylor by descision. how many fights are actually won by a lucky punch? taylor isn't exactly that hard to hit, pavlik landed plenty in the first fight and he's no master boxer.

good post. Exactly i am thinking, its what calzaghe said and JT said himself this guys thinks he is the best SMW who ever lived!!! froch needs some good names on his resume, pascal proved nothing he was fighting part-timers not too long ago! with 100-200 people in a gym hall

JT got knocked out in the first Pavlik fight largely because Manny Steward underestimated KP badly. When he went in with a better fight plan and a better estimation of Pav's real ablities he fought a good close fight. KP is better than Froch in every possible way. No way is Froch going to stop Taylor, and the people who voted "Froch KO" are mostly Brits who have less boxing knowledge than the head of my pecker!

Taylor in an embarassingly lopsided UD. Froch has no defence and no speed. It'll be another Lacy

not really true either, why would it be a lucky punch why can't people think he is going to wear taylor down and ko him :patsch

Froch by decision. He'll have Taylor shitting his pants by the mid-rounds. Taylor won't be able to hurt him. Thia is Frochs big chance to cement a legacy and i don't see him wasting it.

bit harsh on froch I think that his first defence is against Taylor, it's his fault though as he keeps calling out the big names. I'm English and I won't be supporting big mouth Froch

While I agree overall, the only thing that troubles me with JT in this matchup is that even though is defense improved greatly in Pavlik 2 and Lacy, he still has a tendency to let one or two big shots get through. As long as he can withstand a couple of isolated headhunting punches from Froch, I think he's golden.

Have a sense of humour. Who cares if he runs his mouth off about other fighters. It's bloody entertaining and it shakes up the division. He practically forced Taylors hand to take the fight by the way he berated him and suggested he was in hiding and ducking fights. Besides it's hardly as offensive as other mouthy fighters i.e. B-Hop "I'll never let a white boy beat me" and PBF (to Hatton) "I'm gonna butt **** you".

He has shaken up a few Frochludites in Nottingham and that is about it. He berated Taylor into nothing. Other than it will be a few weeks later than Taylor wanted, Taylor has dictated the terms.

What falls out of Froch's mouth isn't entertaining it's repetative, tedious, unjustified dribble!

He must have turrets the way he drops Calzaghes name int every sentence.

Taylor by wide UD, way to classy for Froch.

Hmmm, let me take a shot in the dark: you think the likes of Steve Bunce and Jeremy Clarkson are the pinnacle of wit and entertainment, don't you?
