I must've seen dozens of articles and discussions on this website the last few weeks reporting his latest statement, speculating on Froch's next move, who's going to win the fight, what his future looks like etc etc. You must be dense if you can't see the interest and excitement he's injected into SMW division recently.
Ok I agree that gets tedious. But on the whole people need to lighten up about him i think. If you think Froch is deadly serious whenever he makes these statements, suggesting Taylor's in hiding etc, then there's something wrong. I've seen him interviewed and more often than not a trace of a smile creeps on his face whenever he comes out with his more outrageous lines.
I've got respect for the guy, even if he gets beaten he's going something it took Calzaghe nearly a decade to do after getting his belt, i.e. actually fighting the best out there and going to America.

Yes, and most of those articles were by the Frochludites and the people eager to see Taylor win so they won't have to deal with newly crazed any longer. And this 'excitement' isn't about the SMW division. It is about one fight. But the Frochludites are exaggerating him pretty much across the board.

If Froch proves me wrong, so be it. I'll admit I was wrong. Won't be the first, won't be the last. I just don't see it though and I've watched Taylor/Lacy and Froch/Pascal back to back twice now. If he keeps his work rate up, Taylor picks him apart and possibly stops him. If he slows down, that is the pace Taylor prefers and he just piles up the rounds. Pick you poison.

Yeah, because the SMW division and boxing in general were dull and tiresome when they weren't graced by the English version of Edison Miranda and his rabid rabble of Nottingham venerators.

I think people really under rate this part. He tried to get the first Pavlik fight at 166! Of course Pav earned a title shot and wasn't going to take the fight above the limit. I think this played into some of the 'hate' he started getting. Once he went up a few pounds and dropped Steward, he looked a lot better.

WTF do you mean ? Taylor "won" those fight only because B-Hop was apathic during most of those fights. ****ing threw 10 punches per rounds. 175 B-Hop schools the B-Hop that fought Taylor.

You know, sarcasm is the lowest form of wit.

I'm not sure how many people supporting Froch are actually from Nottingham. I'm not, I know a few others aren't, I even saw a couple of Americans back Froch. People like his power, chin and the grit and determination he brought to the Pascal fight, not just where he lives.

shame on the americans who keep on posting bullshite about froch
i respect everyones predictions, shame some people overlook froch credentials criminaly.

taylor is the better - boxer
    has more speed

    Froch has a great chin
    heart
    has great power
    good offensively

as for the people who claim the void in class is considrable are stupid and should try baseing their opinion on more than the pascal fight in which he fought purely on adrenaline and with an injury
froch is not slow and comparing him to someone with taylors speed is unfair
his style is his own and styles makes fights
froch isnt going to sit there like a punchbag and take shite his going to turn this fight into a brawl and fire back HARD

in which i come to my conclusion, froch by KO late on.

ps- i wouldnt be suprised if taylor emerged victorius in a masterclass

Actually Froch is slow,he generally is slow but his feet are the slowest world class feet I've seen in some time. That doesn't mean he can't win tho.

Agreed but Lacy isn't a comparison term,he ain't relevant in the division anymore.
