Taylor cruises to a points victory. Froch is too slow to even get to Taylor.

    Froch by T/KO

Bigger than Pavlik, better skills, slightly faster (which is saying something), more one punch power. Don't think Taylor can really hurt him either. The only difference is I see Taylor getting finished by the deadly Cobra sting, the uppercut, rather than a barrage of punches and a ref stoppage

If Taylor fights a cautious fight like Pavlik II he might last longer

Got to be Taylor, points or late stoppage. Froch's best chance is an early ko.

    Taylor by stoppage late on.

I don't particularly like the man, but he is a level above Froch, even at a higher weight.

Froch has success early, but Taylor builds a points lead through the middle rounds, and then takes him out late.

I don't know how the hell Taylor is knocking Froch out, who has never even so much as blinked when hit with a shot. If you can't knock out Kassim Ouma or Cory Spinks you aren't knocking out a top SMW :nut

    Guy hasn't got much power

Froch definately has the ability to beat Taylor. I'd say Froch by KO in the 8th with Taylor leading on points before the KO.

Taylor put pavlik down after Miranda couldn't hurt him and Froch's defence is poor. Not saying that JT is a ko artist but he's got decent power.

I'll admit that I haven't seen much of Froch, but I see nothing in him or in his record that makes me think he is KO'ing Jermaine Taylor.

there is a huge class disparity, it's like the difference between the winner of a 10k maiden claiming and the winner of a grade A stakes race

the only people even giving froch a chance have gotta be from england

But Froch hasn't even fought anyone of the calibre of Ouma or Spinks (even if they were coming up from the division below).

If Taylor brings his A-game and Froch brings his A-game, Taylor will take him.

    I can't believe I'm even saying this; I hate Jermain Taylor.:|

Taylor doesn't have an A- game, he'll never exceed B+ level on any occasion if we are being serious

The way I see it, they are similar level, even if Froch doesn't have 'names' to prove it. If picking fights was as easy as who has fought better competition we'd all be millionaires

Let's get serious for a second, any middleweight worth his salt knocks out Spinks and Ouma, or at least looks very impressive. We are talking a huge middleweight here, and he couldn't shift them, yet people are trying to tell me he has a lot of power and is way out of Froch's class. Imagine them in with Froch, they'd get pulverised :nut

Then you consider Froch is actually a real SMW, has genuine one punch power, a serious chin and I'm wondering why the hell this is a forgone conclusion to some

    HA HA.

Notice all of the Euros saying that Froch would win via KO? It's just hilarious.

I saw Froch in his last fight. The guy isn't even in the same league as Taylor. Taylor's far superior hand speed, ability to put combinations together, and just superior athleticism would lead to an easy victory, maybe KO if Froch comes forward. Froch is really not even in Taylor's class.

    TFFP,

Really, you're only making yourself look bad by being so biased against one fighter and favoring one fighter. Do you not see the clear difference in raw talent, hand speed, and ability to put together combinations together?
