It's all about name. Taylor is still a name. He's lost his last 2, fair enough, but it was to the same fighter and he looked a hell of a lot better in the 2nd fight. Froch fighting Taylor for the WBC strap is better for his career than fighting Inkin for the same title. Even if Taylor loses to Froch, he's still got good options to get his career back on track. Froch won't be so lucky. A loss here, could set his career back 2-3 years.

How has Froch earned a shot at the belt then, feller? He ain't been earning ****, fighting bums at short notice. Not his fault Inkin pulled out though. So whom would you put feller Froch against for a title, then, just tell me? Pascal?

Well it's not because HBO is trying to create a new star that we have to follow their desire....

If we can clearly see and can tell a guy is not what they want us to believe, then such it is !!

Froch can compare to a guy like Miranda, a decent fighter with very good power, but very limited boxing skills....that's it that's all ! Not trying to diminish or increase his value no matter where he's from..just saying it like it is !

what besides his name makes jt worthy of a title shot.
if you say it brings more money, that is not a good reason. as i am not his financial advisor, and gain no benefitromit.

boxing is a merit sport. and at 168 he has done absolutely nothing. there are fighters at that weight who have earned their rankng, and whether you like them or not, does not take away from that fact.

i don't look at fighters and believe that they deserve a shot based on what theycould do withput actually having done it. and my friend the fact is that jt has done nothing at 168. and whether or not you believe pascal is worthy of the shot, the fact is that he has fought at 168 and earned a shot

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh the big bad 168 pounders they hit so much harder then middleweights they take a better shot and are stronger too:patsch What bull ****! Pavlik is a far harder banger then Froch:bbb Taylor should have no problem with Carl at all;) In a way I would like Froch too beat Taylor too see new blood in boxing and set up Pavlik vs Froch slugfest and so we won't see Pavlik vs Taylor 3:cool:

Yes, thats right. Just like a welterweight is usually stronger and punches harder than a junior welterweight, and how a lightweight is usually stronger and punches harder than super feather

Christ, you really the plumb the depths of stupidity.

Frochs defence is horrible and I believe that Taylor could box in circles around him - jabbing his way to a wide UD. I dont see Froch has the pressure or offensive skills to catch Taylor. But he can throw a punch harder than both Miranda and Pavlik. Taylor UD is my prediction.

You silly man from other land :nut Joe Louis hit harder Lennox Lewis, Ray Robinson hit harder then Joey Maxim, having a few pounds on someone does not make you a harder hitter:deal In the old days little guys be giving away 20 to 50 pounds a knocking big guys flat:!:

There are always exceptions, but in general an average punching SMW punches harder than an average punching MW. You really have to be unbelievably stupid to think otherwise.

You are a very good poster! But in this preiction youve got it wrong. Froch wont catch Taylor, unless by a lucky punch. Taylor is technically sound enough to box the ears of Froch.

Taylor's WAY too fast for Froch. Froch certainly has a puncher's chance, but the only thing that doesn't make this a lock is that he's lost the only two times he's faced anyone who's nearly as hard of a puncher as Froch.

We'll see. I'm happy to bet on the underdog in this fight, even though I don't massively favour Froch, or rate him as a top 3 SMW

There is no such thing as a lucky punch.

Why the concept "Lucky punch" then?
