Jermain Taylor vs Edison Miranda who wins?

I got Miranda by late KO...

 

people discount Miranda just because he got KO'd by Pavlik..... he was definitely not the same fighter, and even with Pavlik's bombs, he got up at least once from a Knock down. Guy has a decent chin and showed courage.

I think Taylor wins a close UD, but it would not shock me one bit to see Miranda KO taylor

Exactly. Now that's his shaky whiskers have been exposed, expect him to get starched again as soon as he takes on a top fighter. Miranda would destroy him, and early too.:yep

:rofl :rofl :rofl Taylor is the far better PUNCHER than Miranda, Miranda has more power but it does no good if you can't deliver it. Pav will tell you himself who the better puncher is and it isn't the crude Miranda.

It also took Pav longer to get Taylor out of there than Miranda. So by that logic who has the better chin? (I think they are pretty even, both good but not great chins) Plus skill, handspeed, and experience all go to Taylor. The only thing Miranda has on Taylor is maybe stamina and raw power, and I would say ring intellgence but Taylor is more versatle a fighter.

 

Taylor by KO. Miranda is far too crude to beat Taylor IMO.

 

Taylor by decision or Miranda by TKO...either one could happen, but I'd lean with Taylor by UD

 

I think both of these guys are a bit chinny. Miranda has more power, but lacks skill. We know Miranda is mentally tough.
This depends on how Taylor recovers. mentally, after being KOed. If he becomes timid like Jones did, Miranda walks through him. If Taylor decides to use the jab, he can win (a legit) UD or score a KO.

I've got Taylor by unanimous decision or possible late stoppage. Miranda is not skilled enough imo. I would like to see this fight
