Jermain Taylor vs Edison Miranda who wins?

Tayler points, based on much better boxing skills, as long as he avoids getting caught cleanly, he shouldn't have many problems with Miranda.

 

Taylor by UD. Miranda is to crude to beat Taylor.

 

Taylor's by far the better boxer and with Miranda's lack of jab, I can see him flicking his own out and countering him whenever he comes lurching forward with a wild haymaker. Taylor's no power puncher, but I think he's strong enough to wear him down and take him out late or coast to a wide UD.

Miranda has that punchers chance, but I feel his power is a little overrated and Taylor's chin is not as bad as was made out after the first Pavlik fight.

Miranda's similar to Pavlik in attack accept with lesser defense, a lesser jab, and more looping punchs. Unless Miranda got lucky ( like he did with Abraham ) Taylor will chop him down.

Taylor is a step above Miranda. He would easily outclass Miranda outside of a lucky right hand.

 

Taylor is too good a boxer to lose to Miranda, who has power but not good enough skill. Taylor lost to Pavlik (twice) because Kelly can hit hard and has a lot more boxing skill than he gets recognised for.

 

the taylor who fought sat night beats miranda on points no doubt and it wouldnt be shocking to see taylor deck miranda . i take nothing away from miranda but i think if taylor stuck to a game plan and didnt engage to often he would win on points i mean **** i dont see anyone else fighting pavlik like taylor did sat night ... i guess we will have to see but its a fight i think needs to happen and i dont see taylor ducking anyone so ill be waiting

 

hey ocelot i think kessler is a hell of a challenge for taylor he is a pavlik type guy maybe not the same skills but can end the night with a big punch and outside calzaghe whom i think may or may not stick around i dont see anyone beating taylor the way pavlik did and quite frankly i dont think taylor will ever get knocked out again . i think he beats bute easily but i doubt bute will come out of his hole to fight him. i think we all know taylor is gonna fight anyone in this division .. he may clean up if calzaghe leaves and pavlik sticks at 160

Mirand is similar to Pavlik like **** is similar to ice cream:hey These two fighters have virtually nothing in common! But to get back on topic, I voted for JT by a decision. However, I do not think Jermain should take Miranda as his first fight back. There is a one in a thousand chance that Miranda could get lucky, and that would be really bad for JT.
