Lacy has no confidence and won't throw punches. I'm going with Taylor.

They should call this fight "DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE BECAUSE THEY ARE BOTH SHITE "

Lacy only struggled to put Manfredo away after he had him hurt but I still think he finshes well. Remeber he is a 168 pound Mike Tyson.

    Of course he can.

The only motive I can think of is that the tread starter likes small guys (as in the latino divisions) and tries to discredit Taylor and thereby indirectly Pavlik..

Let's see: When one of the small guys loose "it just adds to his legacy and gives the opportunity for a rematch" - see Pac, Barrera, Morales etc.

Taylor is in no way, shape or form exposed.

Jermain is in one of the few fights he can win against a one dimensional fighter who cant get out of the way of punches. He is still finished on an elite scale b/c he lost his confidence and his first trainer ruined him.even though he had manny in his corner his last few fights he still couldnt fix him.

Lacy is clearly a very confused fighter rightnow . . . Taylor showed a good performance in his losing effort against Pavlik . . . I'll pick taylot by decission on this.

Say this aloud to yourself several times: "Lacy struggled to put Manfredo away" now say it aloud slowly and then try to tell yourself that Lacy has a remote chance of winning...if you somehow come to that conclusion go out in the backyard and punch yourself repeatedly in the face:good

As much as I HATE JT and am a fan of Pavlik, you're right. I was about to throw in the towel for Kelly that first fight, he was DONE. How he came back I have no idea. Jermaine just didn't do enough I suppose.

Either way, Pavlik didn;t "expose" Taylor at all.

Good question. Thanks for the thread.

I think Lacy will be the one further exposed here. Calz ruined him, and I don't think he has very much left.

    That is not an argument.
What he did vs Spinks and Hopkins have nothing to do with Taylor's fights with Pavlik.
Pavlik beat Taylor convincingly the first time by KO, and won a close UD the second time. Taylor put on spirited efforts in both fights despite losing to the better fighter.
Being KO'ed doesn't mean the fighter is "exposed" and surely Pavlik didn't "expose" Taylor.
As far as Lacy... now he WAS exposed.

Yep. Lacy is and always has been a deeply flawed fighter. Taylor is and always has been an imperfect fighter, at least as far as stamina and killer instinct. People shouldn't confuse imperfect with deeply flawed. Imperfect beats deeply flawed every time.

Thats is not violently getting ko'd you could tell he just gassed out if anything was exposed it's the fact Taylor doesn't have good stamina
