    Uh, it was pretty violent:

That was a vicious KO. He took six very hard shots in the KO sequence: Two rights (not in the gif), left uppercut, right uppercut (not in this gif), short right and a final hard left hook to the head.

    Fair enough.

But then again, do you know many "perfect" fighters?

:goodI think after Bhop, Jermain had problems making weight. Let's see what he does at 168.

Lacy couldn't even legitimately beat Mendoza, he got a pity decision. Unless Taylor has become a full fledged ****** he is going to make short work of him.

Why does everyone hate on Taylor because he was "hyped"??? ****ing ignorance some of you show amazes me! The sport needs stars, it needs to be brought back to the mainstream media. HBO saw a young, decent looking kid with a nice image and good athleticism and they tried to make him a star. So ****ing what!!! Good for Boxing...Good for HBO....Good for the fans! Jermain Taylor has fought the toughest opposition of any fighter in the sport over the past few years. He dethrowned BHop and got his ass out of the middleweight division, Thank God! However you scored the 1st fight, Taylor definitely won the second fight. Draw with Winky, which I thought Winky was robbed actually. But that was at 160lbs, it wasn't the fat, out of shape Winky that BHop fought. Ouma was an easy one for him and he beat the hell out of him. Spinks is a crafty southpaw and can give anyone a tough fight and make look bad...but the fight sucked ass. Then he fought Kelly Pavlik twice! Kelly Pavlik is a great fighter, plain and simple.

Hopkins twice - back to back
    Winky immediately after Hopkins
Pavlik twice - back to back

Anyone that fights those 5 fights and comes out .500 or better has succeeded. All of them were in the P4P top ten when he fought them (maybe not Pavlik the 1st time, but definitely the 2nd time).

No, they weren't. Unfortunately, there are 12 rounds in a fight, and you score by the round, not by who looked better during the fight as a whole. If he had actually thrown any punches the first 5 rounds of either fight, you'd have an argument. As it is, they were both close decisions that could have gone either way.

I have been a fan of Taylor for a while and think he will beat Lacy, but I am not sure how well he will do at 168 lbs, when he steps up. Can he beat Kessler, Bute, Andrade or Froch?

I admire Lacy for his courage in the Calzaghe fight but I think he is on his way down. A fight against Bika, if he beats Manfredo, or against Andrade, if he loses to Bute, awaits him, if he doesn't retire. I think he would lose both.

To say taylor is exposed is ridiculous, he could've easily stopped Pavlik had he gone after him after the knock down, In the second fight he clearly wasn't the old JT because that KO really shocked him but after a few roundswith the slow and predictable lacy he should be back to the old JT

Hard to pick a winner in this one. Lacy looked good for about 4 rounds in his last fight then almost got KOed. Taylor has looked better since he dropped Steward.
