    Why would this be a tough fight for Taylor?

    Lacy has had 3 str8 controversial decisions vs fighters Taylor would get wide UDs or KOs against....What about Lacy and Taylor's styles make this fight competitive? Cuz I see nothing.

    Yeah but Taylor won a SD over Spinks and didn't go out and destroy Ouma. It's not like he was out wrecking guys before he fought Pavlik. Lacy will come at him pretty hard and if Taylor is not mentally ready it could be a possible upset. But I think Taylor will do just enough to win a close decision.

    Yes, and Cory Spinks would have wide UDs vs the cats Lacy has been facing...Yet Lacy's only won controversial decisions vs these guys

    People seem to forget that Taylor has looked like **** for years. Just like Lacy.

    Lacy is winning extremely close decisions vs B level fighters.

    Taylor, say what you want to say about him, has been winning/been extremely competitive in fights w/ Winky Wright, Bernard Hopkins, and Kelly Pavlik...All top 15 p4p fighters. The only p4p fighter lacy has fought (calzaghe), he lost every round with authority.

    6 guys say lacy will win in this poll...How will he do it? I envision no scenario in which he could win.

    All it takes is one big punch, not saying Lacy will win BUT nothing is guaranteed either.

    Not true. Lacy doesn't want to fight anymore. He frign announced his retirement than said hey, I could earn 1,000,000+ fighting taylor. I'll take that fight and then retire.

    That's how I see it and to me, Lacy's motivation for this fight is the $. Taylor's motivation is to rebound from b2b Pavlik losses.

    Not only is taylor the superior boxer, but he has motivation on his side IMO.
