JT's a great counter puncher. I think it would be activity versus clean, harder punching. Sort of like Pavlik/JT 2.

Anyone think that PW would make a better MW than a WW?

seems like a lot of non Americans are having a hard time with the use of the word "appetizing"

i think pw is equally effective at mw as he is ww...

he probably just has to do less work to lose the weight

Thanks. We have an international audience here, I thought they were bringing a bucket of chicken to the ring or something.

Taylor would probably counter Williams sloppy work, and win unimpressively on points like he did against other smaller men.

I don't think size would be an issue here. Give Williams a fight to adjust and he'll be just as big as JT. The guy has fought at 165 and 162 at WW. JT fought at like 170 in his last fight with Pavlik. Size is not an issue.

Williams can be a bit sloppy ala Quintana I - where the southpaw basically beat him one handed. I feel he finds orthodox fighters pretty easy to deal with, whilst he don't like facing southpaws.

His legs are like bamboo sticks. It will have an affect, especially when he puts on lean muscle and they have to support that.

Taylor is actually a natural middleweight/super middle.

Either way, Taylor would win. Williams is too amateurish with his work and lack of adaptability for my liking, counterpunchers will always be his nemesis.

Let Williams fight for a year at 165 & up and then he'll be ready to face anyone between 160 & 170

I don't know about anyone else, but I am bloody sick of catchweight fights :deal

Williams is sloppy as I have detailed above, and as TFFP has said he is vulnerable to counterpunchers. The key would be to get in range, get your shots off and get out again as JMM does superbly - and win a UD.
