Doubt it would be easy if the Duran from the Barkley/Hagler fights showed...Taylor didn't have an easy time w/ anybody during his title reign.

Taylor has way too much size and athleticism for Duran. Duran's great defense is the reason he makes the distance.

Taylor in a dull, lopsided decision.

Depends which middle duran version your talking about. The one who fought barkley was still pretty good but taylor is to fast got to much reach for that Duran and he wins a decision 116-112 117-111 117-111. The Duran of 83 is a diffrent story over 15 rounds he wins by late stoppage or close decision.

Taylor doesnt win fights easy...He shortcomings dont allow him to. I think he likely beats Duran, he is a little to cautious for Duran to consistently exploit holes in his D and is a bit to big for Roberto in there. But Taylor will tire, he will get very scrappy and sloppy...and I see Roberto giving him a lot of trouble down the stretch because of this.

Taylor deservedly wins it by a couple of points..but it wont be pretty and it wont be easy.

I think Taylor's just too big for Duran.

Bridge too far. Duran could undoubtedly find plenty of flaws in Taylor, but hard to take advantage when the opponent is so big and so athletic.

Comfortable UD, though I ask everyone not to forget Kassim Ouma.

I agree that the most likely outcome is a Taylor UD.

However, one lapse in concentration from Taylor and he could be in serious trouble. Duran certainly has the ability at MW to stop Taylor

I think the Duran that fought Hagler beats taylor by 3 points or so.

Taylor would be lucky to hit Duran with those ridiculously telegaphed rights more than a few times in the whole fight and i think Duran would score well enough with counters to nullify the jab.

I've thought that about a fair few of your opinions as well to be honest.
