Since losing his second fight with Kelly Pavlik, Jermain Taylor has fallen under the radar. It's now been 45 days and not a peep. What are his plans?

Perhaps he's waiting for the winner of CAlzaghe-Hopkins? After all if Hopkins wins there might be enough history between Taylor and Hopkins to make another fight between the two feasible.

Though I fear that after his reign as MW champ ( and the big paydays he collected during that reign) Taylor may be following the route Wright seems to be heading and be pricing himself into retirement.

If I remember correctly, Taylor vs RJJ was in discussion for a while before Jones decided to go and play with MMA guys.

Depending on what Abraham plans to do with Miranda, he might have a match there.

The only good thing i see from this fight is that i want to see Tito get KTFO so that he no longer steals people's hard earned money by living off his name.

JT would do a number on Tito.

    Taylor's in limbo ...

I think that it doesn't matter who he fights next ... he has to win ... he should be somewhere locked in a gym working on his skills 8hrs a day.

Emanuel said that his work ethic was suspect and he didn't put fourth the effort in staying on top.

When he did it was too late ... he'd already lost to Pavlik and the rematch only proved that Kelly can go 12 and that was more impressive than Taylor staying on his feet.

    Emanuel Steward is an idiot.

Look how much better JT looked when he dumped him. He had his best outing, at least IMO, for his career. He seemed much improved despite the loss.

JT has plenty of options. His stock rose after the Pavlik 2 fight. If he can maintain that level of performance, he can beat a lot of people at SMW.

    Taylor
    Miranda
    Lacy
    Tito

Match any of those up together and it would be a good fight.

For the life of me, I don't see why Wright vs Taylor 2 is not being talked about. Both don't have a opponent and this is a rematch many hardcore boxing fans want to see

Both of those guys (Wright & Taylor) are idiots for not taking the rematch ... they really have unfinished business and need some clarity.

Their careers depend on it ... they both have suffered L's since they last met and both are in limbo w/ Wright being at a crossroads in his career.

They both can stand to make millions and have that fight on PPV given that it has a decent undercard.

They both can sell 350k buy between the both of them ...

I don't think it's money. I think it's just a case where both fighters realize that they are that close and that if they fought again, they would kill each other again for maybe another draw. Not worth it.

Besides, JT needs to take a break. Look at the last 6 or so guys he has fought. Well, unless if that guy is RJJ. I want to see that one.:good
