I really hope you aren't serious. If anyone should get brutally knocked out it should be "The Golden Greedy One" AKA Oscar De La Hoya. This clown has never put in $40,000,000.00 worth of effort into one of his fights yet gets a pass from you? Tito at least went up in weight and he may have lost to Hopkins, but at least he went out on his shield. This coming from a Mexican-American who sees past the BS DLH spews so that he can get another $30,000,000.00 payday when he isn't even relevant in boxing anymore, not that he ever was to me anyway.

If the Taylor that showed up against Pavlik II comes to fight in a Wright rematch, it will be lights out for Wright. That or a CLEAR UD for Taylor.

Oh, don't get me started on Ms. Greedy. I hate that guy more than anyone. :good But Tito is also milking people for their money and would do so if he fought another top guy like JT where everyone knows he will lose.

Winky is a tough nut to crack at the negotiating table.

He might be, but he isn't doing himself any favors. His style isn't exactly thrilling, so not a lot of people are losing sleep on not watching him box. I do feel bad for Winky though because De La Hoya has DUCKED him shamelessly and The Ring nor any other media outlet has called out De La Greedy for that. :-(

Taylor impressed me more in the 2nd Pavlik fight than Pavlik did. Pavlik came in and tried to fight the 1st fight over again. It didn't work. He injured both hands, and had to adjust to a much improved Taylor. On the other hand, JT put on one of the best performances of his career. In so doing he became the first guy to take away Pavlik's double-jab, and the first guy to force Pavlik to go the 12 round distance. I scored it 116-112, but I would not argue with 115-113. If Taylor can make as much additional improvement for his next fight as he made between the 2 Pavlik fights, he can be a serious force at 168. The question is; does he want it bad enough? If he does, BRING ON MIRANDA!!! That would make a spectacular come back fight.

I think that Winky is looking at the 154 and 160 weight divisions ( moving up in weight for Hopkins did not work out well for him) for his next ( if it ever happens ) fight. That puts him outside of Taylor's "never fighting again below 168" range. I'm not sure how Oscar De La Hoya fits in this at all as they aren't even close in weight class.

I think a lot depends on the level of risk that Taylor is willing to take. If risk is his game then a fight with Hopkins would generate more interest than a Winky fight. RJJ might also be good. Tito though I think ranks a little to much as a has-been. I'd personally like to see Miranda, though if Taylor wanted that fight he had his chance.

Winky can't make 154 anymore, and Hoya can't compete at anything higher than that. If you're Oscar, why would you engage a boring fighter like Wright, when ultra-popular opponents like Mayweather, Hatton and even Pacquiao (joke of a fight that would be) are hanging around.

De La Hoya is a sideshow, not a serious fighter at this point. He doesn't owe anyone anything, any more than Jones owes anyone anything. If Wright wants a serious fight and to be taken seriously, he needs to fight Taylor or Kessler or someone else who's viable around 160-168.

Otherwise, he can sit on his couch and drop lots of insults with his buddy Greg Leon.

I know JT is willing to fight Hopkins for a 3rd time but can the same be said for Hopkins? I doubt it.
