Jermain Taylor: "Who Is Carl Froch?"

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by walk with me, May 12, 2009.

  1. Taylor's actually a very classy guy - just watch the post fight interview.

In fact, watch the video you posted, all the way to the end.

"Froch? Carl Froch? Alright then Carl. Good to meet you. How you doing?"

Ha! Bet you missed that didn't you? It's just edited to make him look like a *****. He even calls the person who asked the question, 'Sir'.

co-sign. however, froch wasn't totally dominated and schooled the WHOLE bout. most of it though.

    Jesus Wept!

There is NO such thing as luck in boxing.

Froch's pressure and punching power wore Taylor down in the later rounds and he went for broke in round 12. That's why he won. Not luck, or Taylor's lack of discipline etc. What a load of absolute ****.

It doesn't matter that he was dominated. He knocked Taylor the **** out. Taylor had the better skills and speed but Froch had the better chin, stamina, heart and power.

    I say again, Jesus Wept!

Taylor is a stand up guy, and gave Froch props after the fight... No need for this.

Sad to see Taylor lose to a terrible fighter like Froch. Froch is possibly the worst "world class" fighter I have ever seen.

I dont think Taylor schooled anyone, it was closer to me than the 2 judges had it and as far as lucky goes there is no excuses to be made even if you was winning the entire fight and end up getting stopped in the 12th, HE LOST and got KTFO So I guess you and him just have to deal with the reality lol

At least he has the balls to step into the ring with tough opposition, unlike that punk in your avatar. So much for your precious fighter, he got his head launched the **** off by a brit, how does that make you feel? Arrogance can only get you so far. The yank got spanked...I bet you wouldn't be saying that if Froch was American. You see, the way you always refer to resume's and what someone has done on paper is irrelevant logic and you always say who was Margarito when Floyd ducked him, well this can be applied to carl Froch and Jermain Taylor and look at what pressure did to Taylor. Just watch the video

Nothing but racism and garbage from a lowlife like yourself. I don't give a damn where Froch or Taylor are from I'm discussing boxing ability here and Froch has nothing special worth mentioning, Brit or from Zimbabwe I don't give a damn.

He was LOSING to a Taylor who totally shut down after the 5th in fear of running out of gas and was WAY behind on points as well, he was just literally stalking throwing LAUGHABLE pedictable punches and one of the worst combinations I've ever seen a world class fighter throw. He was so terrible that whenever Jermain decided to throw and land Froch was immediately rocked and in trouble. My point with all of this is that Froch is not going anywhere far and as soon as he fights someone decent he gets iced.

Speaking of Mayweather as a cherry picker, he wouldn't be rated the greatest of this generation and still competing with Pacquiao for that title if he was what you're claiming he is. You even have the nerve to compare Froch's resume with Mayweather, do you know anything about boxing or just a fan of whoever carries the flag you support?

what is rather worrying is that you actually believe that and use it as a legitimate excuse, this site never fails to put a smile on my face..

even taylor didnt use that one,24 rounds with hopkins,19 rounds with pavlik etc etc but gets in with froch and shuts down after 5!!!

It was a close fight...like Hopkins Calzaghe.

Calzaghe though established a reputation/following and took them over. Has an effect on the judges....when he swings wildly crowd cheer.

Froch was connecting ...there was no crowd reaction.

Froch took a far riskier fight, in his 1st defence as an unestablished champ against a close to prime hungry fighter with skill.

Knowing that if its a clsoe fight you wont get the decision...;.that takes BALLS. Froch could have been crqafty and made a couple of sneaky defences and established himself built himself up, but he didnt.

    thats rare.

And you say that with some UFC guy(Brock Lesnar?) in your avatar.

Have you seen the fight or decided to contribute for the sake of clowning?, After the 5th it was obvious Taylor was just avoiding exchanges and moving, trying as much as he can to save energy and STILL he made Froch miss and even took rounds. Going in the 12th Taylor was safely leading by a wide margin, prove that wrong please rather than posting some garbage totally off-topic.
