If Taylor were to get a new trainer. I think he would need one who has a very big emphasis on conditioning and endurance. Who would be the best man for this.

I really thought he was doin' well with Pat Burns. I'm not sure though if he's the best man for the points you made.

    Wonder about JT and Nazim?

Turtle defense=Taylor gets tired without landing anything significant and quite frankly I don't think he can hurt Abraham.

Abraham by mid to late round KO.

Nazim would be ideal but there's no chance that happens due to history

This fight at 160 would have been MUCH more competitive, Taylor beating arthur majoirty of the time. At SMW, arthurs chances are going to be much better, (judging from the miranda 2 fight) he looked quicker on his feet, looked stronger and looked like he was enjoying himself. It is a tough fight, taking on Jermaine Taylor to start your smw career, good on arthur!

How long was Burns with him?

Nazim seems to have done a great job keeping Hops and now Mosley young and fresh.

I really just remember him first looking tired in the first Hop fight. Really I'm not so sure if it's his conditioning or if he's just not relaxed enough in the ring.

Funny thing about Taylor/Abraham is that if JT wins, he's back in the game big time because Abraham is so over rated and hyped up right now. If Abraham wins, he beat a guy who lost 3 of his last 4, and most people believe is shot. This is a lose/lose situation for Arthur.

ABSOLUTEY BEST POST OF THE THREAD BOO:deal! LOSE LOSE situation for arthur, I have to agree with you a 100%, the more I think about this fight the more I don't like it. I wish arthur fought a ward for his first fight. But you make a VERY GOOD and valid point

Dont be ****, its a good fight against a good fighter

seems people would actually prefer to have fighters fighting lower risk fights these days

Froch would be the best place for Arthur to start. He's ranked as the #1 or #2 SMW in the world, depending on which ratings you're looking at. In my opinion he does not have the speed, coordination, or defensive prowess to keep Arthur off of him. Bang - Arthur wins, and he's on top of the world!

JT on the other hand is a rough night. Unless he really is ruined, and that is a very real possibility. If Jermain has anything left, he represents everything that bothers AA. Height, reach, speed, a quick and stiff jab, et.

I'll be pulling for JT because he has been one of my favorties for a long time. I only rooted against him in the Pavlik fights. In this series I'm back to Jermain -- mutha ****ing -- Taylor!!!!

Stylistically IMO it's a terrible match-up for Jermain.

    Going on Abraham's turf too.

Abraham carries his power all the fight and we know Jermain can get knocked out with 14 seconds left.
